A Clash of Humans, Monsters, and Neohumans in Sweet Home 3 Trailer
“From the beginning, I was you. “I was always a part of you,” the monster within Hyun-su (Song Kang) ominously declares in the tension-filled trailer for Sweet Home Season 3, which was released today. Fans are left to speculate as to which iteration of Hyun-su will emerge victorious and to what extent.
Humans, monsters, and neohumans prepare for the ultimate confrontation in the third and final season of the iconic Korean monsterization saga. The primary poster depicts the confrontation between Hyun-su and Sang-wook (Lee Jin-uk) in a stadium that has been destroyed and is currently in flames. Once allies, their paths diverged in the second season, and they are now on the brink of a final confrontation.
The trailer provides a glimpse of the intense action that ensues between Hyun-su and Eun-hyeok (Lee Do-hyun) immediately following their reunion. Yi-kyung (Lee Si-young) regains consciousness after being consumed by a monster, while Eun-yu (Ko Min-si) and Chan-young (Jinyoung) contend for their lives. In the interim, Tak In-hwan (Yoo Oh-seong), Dr. Lim (Oh Jung-se), Kim Yeong-hu (Kim Moo-yeol), and Kid (Kim Sia) resume their respective journeys, each encountering new challenges.
Director Lee Eung-bok states, “There is a diverse cast of characters, so I anticipate that viewers will support their preferred characters as they engage in battle in their respective capacities. This includes the conflict between Sang-wook, who has evolved into an evil entity, and Hyun-su, who yearns to preserve his humanity; Yi-kyung, who is determined to safeguard Kid; and Sergeant Tak, who is accountable for the survivors’ welfare.”
Don’t miss the riveting conclusion to the Sweet Home series, which will premiere exclusively on Netflix on July 19.
