AOZORA: Best Japanese Restaurant In Tagaytay
Everyone looks at a good restaurant to eat and get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Manila streets. Tagaytay has many well-known restaurants. One of the restaurants that are well hidden in Tagaytay is a Japanese restaurant called Aozora, which has delicious Japanese cuisine and beautiful Japanese decor.
Dining in Aurora will give you an utterly romantic, serene, and awesome feeling. With authentic Japanese style and ingredients cooked by Chef Seiki Kamura. The moment you find Aozora, the Japanese architecture, yet alone, will leave you in awe.
You will first notice the traditional Japanese gates for entering a home or garden. There are lots of outdoor wooden tables and chairs that will you a great Japanese experience.
Inside the restaurant, you will find beautiful Japanese decor and wall art. Dining inside will also give you such a cozy experience that it’s hard to choose if you want to eat inside or outside the restaurant!
Behind the restaurant, Aozora has their own garden which they personally used all the vegetables as their ingredients for all the Japanese dishes that they serve to their customers!
They have a lot of delicious Japanese dishes, so it was tough to choose, but these are some Buzzsetter favorites!
Dragon Maki: This Maki is so IG-Worthy that you can’t stop taking photos of it! it’s combined with rice and tiger prawn. A total delicious cuisine to add to your Japanese foodie bucket list! Rate: 9/10
Tuna Sashimi: There were lots of Sashimi of being served at Aozora and this is one of our favorites. It’s so soft that we couldn’t get enough of it! Rate: 9/10
Aozora Salad: This is a must-try if you’re a living a healthy lifestyle. Combined with crab sticks along with the ingredients and vegetables are taken from the farm behind the restaurant. You can also choose between sesame dressing or wasabi mayonnaise.
Buzzsetter Recommended! Chicken Teriyaki: One of the most delicious teriyakis’s that we have ever tried! We will let the meal speak for itself. Rate: 10/10
Buzzsetter Recommended! Aozora Ramen: You can’t leave a Japanese restaurant and not try ramen! This ramen has a bit a twist of Filipino and Japanese fusion. Rate: 10/10
Buzzsetter Recommended! Tamago Sushi: This sushi is one of a kind. It’s hard to explain this but got to try it!. Rate: 10/10
Buzzsetter Recommended! We love the steak! It blended well with the vegetables and noodles! Rate: 9/10
Buzzsetter Recommended! This was absolutely delicious. Not only that it has a certain spice, the vegetables made it a perfect combo! Rate: 9/10
Overall, the experience was terrific to complete with their excellent customer service and, at the same time, feel the cold breezy weather of Tagaytay. The tricky part is that this place is well-hidden along the roads of Tagaytay. Waze might come in handy, but you might ask some of the locals for directions.
