CASA CARLITA RESORT: A Weekend Getaway In A Bahay Kubo Villas

Bahay Kubo or Nipa Hut is a Philippine icon that it even has its own song and also featured in the Disney movie “NEMO”. You haven’t had a bahay kubo experience, we highly suggest to try a Modern Bahay Kubo at CASA CARLITA RESORT in Batangas.

We found this great bahay kubo and it was a completely different experience. Unlike most bahay kubo which natural wind or electric fan to cool the hut, this bahay kubo has air-conditioning complete with a fridge and a TV. A bahay kubo is made from bamboo so the entire hut is made entirely from bamboo.

The bathroom was just as cool and comfy complete with a hot shower and a bidet. On the top floor, you have two twin beds and a queen-size bed along with air conditioning. This is a great place to take a great Instagram photo.

The resort also has great amenities which include a playground for the kids and billiards for the adults. They even got their own karaoke if you guys love t sing your heart out!

The best part is that they got their own swimming pool for adults and kids complete with changing rooms.

They also got a BBQ area where you can cook or grill your own food.

Food and snacks are available at the resort but they are quite expensive. We highly suggest to bring your own food or you can buy food at the nearest affordable restaurant or at Waltermart.

The bahay kubo also looks great at night with lots of tables and bean bags to relax and drink with your friends. The place has a weak signal so there’s no way you can go online but the best part is that you’ll be forced to meet people and make new friends! They also have a movie to watch every night. Try to think of Flossom and you get the picture.

The best part is that they a bonfire every night! You can enjoy the bonfire but we highly suggest to bring marshmallows so you can have an epic night!
