EVERGLOW, MOMOLAND, And AKMU Entertains Their Pinoy Fans At The Ripples for Hope 2022

At the Ripples For Hope event, the K-pop groups EVERGLOW, AKMU, and MOMOLAND graced the stage.

The event, titled Ripples For Hope 2022: A K-pop Friendship Day & Night, featured 19 fan clubs of various K-pop groups competing in six games for the title of first Ripple Champion

Dozens of young and old k-pop fans patiently lined up at the SM MOA Arena to enter the concert venue. Many of them were carrying colored light sticks and Momoland t-shirts.

The Ripple for Hope event has just concluded, and each of the winners who waited until after the event to receive their winning group photo with EVERGLOW, MOMOLAND, and AKMU have now received their photos.

The concert began with the “HAPPEE” video, which PULP previous K-pop concerts and videos of K-pop fans with their winning tickets or photos with their favorite K-pop idols.

EVERGLOW First Performance In The Philippines

EVERGLOW opened the show with a bang by performing their hit song “LA DI DA MV.” Filipino K-pop fans blew the roof off MOA Arena when the chorus “Everglow forever, let’s go” lit up the arena.

EVERGLOW then told their Filipino fans that they were happy and that it had always been their dream to perform in the Philippines. They were pleased to see the faces of their Filipino fans finally.

Each EVERGLOW learned Filipino phrases and began uttering words such as “Galing nyo! They photographed the Ripple winners as well as took a selfie with the crowd.

They performed several songs, including “DUN DUN” and “Adios,” and concluded their set with “Pirate,” much to the delight of the audience.

MOMOLAND Returns To The Philippines

The ever-popular MOMOLAND has returned to the Philippines since their catchy songs dominated the country in 2018. The group took the stage immediately and performed “Yummy Yummy Love” and “Wrap Me Up in Plastic.”

The band joyfully interacted with the crowd by expressing their happiness in the Philippines and how much they missed it. JoeE, a member of MOMOLAND, exclaimed joyfully, “I miss Jollibee!” with her signature blonde hair now dyed black. With her now-red hair, MOMOLAND member Nancy was also a clear favourite among K-pop Filipino fans.

Ultimately, their hit song “Bboom Bboom” sparked the “Bboom Bboom” dance craze and propelled them to fame in the Philippines. They concluded their performance with “Baam” as the crowd continued to scream, “MOMOLAND, MOMOLAND!

AKMU First Time In The Philippines

“Ripples for Hope 2022” gathered fans of various K-pop artists for a day and night of activities to “test the strength and friendship of our Hallyu community,” which marked AKMU’s concert debut in the Philippines.

AKMU performed 11 songs accompanied by a live band, including their latest single, “NAKKA”, and past hits such as “Dinosaur,” “Give Love,” and “How People Move.”AKMU also performed “Last Goodbye,” but the duo expressed a desire to return to the Philippines soon.
