Things You Need to Know About the Heartwarming Korean Drama ‘Destined With You’

PLOT
“Destined With You” revolves around an extraordinary romance transcending time’s boundaries. Rowoon takes on the role of Jang Shin Yu, a lawyer trapped in a centuries-old curse. His life takes a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with Jo Bo Ah’s character, Lee Jong Ho, a seemingly ordinary civil servant. Their connection goes way deeper than the usual meet-cute, as suggested by the mesmerizing trailer.
The newly released 47-second trailer gives us a tantalizing glimpse into the narrative. Amidst a bustling crowd, Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah’s characters lock eyes, setting off a series of transformative events. As they move towards each other, their modern outfits transform into traditional Korean clothing, evoking a connection that seems to transcend time. This sneak peek hints at a deep-rooted history between the two characters that has bound them together across the ages.
Cast
Rowoon, who’s already wooed us with his presence in K-dramas like “The King’s Affection” and “Tomorrow,” steps into Jang Shin Yu’s shoes, bringing his charm and acting chops to the forefront. On the other hand, Jo Bo Ah, known for her roles in hit dramas like “My Strange Hero” and “Tale of the Nine-Tailed,” is all set to cast her spell on us with her portrayal of Lee Jong Ho.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. Ha Joon and Yura are also part of the cast, with their lead roles yet to be revealed. Ha Joon, who’s showcased his talent in series like “Arthdal Chronicles” and “Black Dog,” is bound to surprise us again. Yura, a member of Girl’s Day, is ready to prove her acting mettle after her appearance in the Netflix K-drama “Forecasting Love and Weather.”
