The owner Ms. Muffin spoke about how she started Essence of Gaea and the inspiration behind it. It all started due to allergies in which says in her own words:

From my childhood days, I’ve always had challenges with the food I ate as I was prone to allergies. My stomach as well as on the sensitive side. I have severe lactose intolerance. Recently, I’ve been on maintenance for hypertension and have high cholesterol but I wasn’t willing to go on a restricted and bland diet.

How did you come up with Essence of Gaea?
I decided to create my own product that tastes amazingly good and healthy at the same time. This was when Essence Of Gaea was born. Gaea, being mother earth or mother nature. Essence because everything came from 100% organic and plant-based or vegan raw materials.

Can you tell us more about your products?
I started by creating my own 100% organic Classic and Italian Garlic Herb Vegan butter and initially got feedback from my kids on how good it tastes. I wondered then if other people would also like it so I did a taste test with my colleagues and got very positive responses. This inspired me more and I wanted to share this healthy option to Filipinos who have challenges similar to mine. With the very positive responses I’ve received, I decided to expand my products now having Essence Of Gaea’s Homemade Vegan Mayonnaise, Tahini Dark Chocolate Vegan Ganache/Spread, Tahini Dips/Dressing, Tahini Paste, and Vegan hummus.

Essence Of Gaea’s Homemade Italian Garlic Herb Vegan Butter

Homemade Italian Garlic Herb Vegan Butter is more than just your regular butter. It’s a dairy-free alternative to your regular butter mixed with fresh garlic and organic herbs like thyme and rosemary. It’s 100% plant-based, 100% homemade, and has no preservatives. Thus, it’s 100% healthy. It melts on toast and it’s great for baking and frying.

Essence Of Gaea’s Vegan products is freshly made. Hence, it needs to be ordered a day in advance. The shelf life of the butter is 1-2months if stored in the freezer. It is recommended that you thaw only a portion then put the butter back in the freezer to preserve the freshness of the herbs.

Homemade Tahini Dark Chocolate Vegan Ganache/spread is made from ground sesame seeds and olive oil or tahini, mixed with pure cocoa powder, coco milk, and muscovado sugar.

Sesame seed as we all know is a good source of fiber and plant proteins, it may lower cholesterol and triglycerides, it may lower blood pressure, it boosts bone health as sesame seeds are high in calcium, a good source of vitamin B1, B3 and

you put mayo in.
Note: Like some other natural peanut butter, the oil will float on top of the jar, just give it a mix and it’s good to go.
