GOT7’s Sunshine Youngjae Gets Emotional During his “INSIDE OUT” Concert in Manila

It’s the real deal, GOT7’s Youngjae graces the Philippine stage with his powerful vocals and flawless dance moves for the Inside Out 2024 Asia Tour.

GOT7’s sunshine has brought happiness and just the perfect bright mood for everyone. Inside Out 2024 Asia Tour landed for its stop in Manila at the New Frontier Theatre, on February 24, Saturday.

The early birds are out—fans were excited to fill in the grounds of the vicinity to participate in fan projects. Attendees roamed around to take pictures, share fan-made giveaways, and meet their co-Ahgases. Moreover, ticket holders for the pre-show soundcheck event started to enter the venue at 4:30 PST.

A Sweet Treat from Youngjae

The fans were in it for a treat, more than anything guaranteed—it is tasty and sweet! The long wait for Youngjae is finally over as he welcomes the crowd with his hit songs “Vibin” and “Sugar”. Over the very ecstatic crowd, the theater glowed in spring green as Ahgabong (GOT7’s lightstick) swayed to the beat of the music.

Youngjae struts in a stunning white tux as he dances to the songs “Deal” and “Dreaming Again”. Following the upbeat kick-off for the show, a surprise rendition of Bruno Mar’s “When I Was Your Man” slowed down the tempo in grace. The setlist transitioned into a lovely serenade with the performance of “Thinking of You”.The first half of the show came to a close with “Focus”, “Tasty”, and “Do It”.

Everything Youngjae Loves

The second half of the show draws closer to the intimate side of Youngjae. He performed his songs “Lonely” and “Problem”.

Youngjae, despite feeling quite unwell as his throat is not in good condition—with such an amazing show, he never disappointed his fans. The crowd also did their best to cheer up Youngjae by singing along with him and even chanted “Gwenchana” (괜찮아) [It’s Alright] as he apologized for struggling to perform well. He also shared his sentiments with the crowd dedicating his song “Never Leave You Alone”, and sent them the warmest thank you.

“Thanks to you guys, I was able to perform very well today. So that song [Never Leave You Alone] I made it for you guys [Ahgase]. It has been a long time since I last visited the Philippines,” Youngjae says.

Filo Ahgases also shared a fan project organized by AHGASISters for Youngjae that made him emotional and got teary-eyed. A special banner designed after Youngjae’s dog, Coco, also left him in great awe. It was such a sight of genuine love from his fans and him as an artist.

GOT7 Forever

It is not a performance from GOT7 members without an encore for their chart-topping hits. The crowd went wild hearing “Hard Carry”, “Girls Girls Girls” and “NANANA”.

Everyone enjoyed the night and celebrated a good love month with Youngjae. It closed with a hi-bye session for all and other fan benefits—photo op and signed Polaroid. He promised to come back as he prepared more music for the fans.

“I want to work as a musician until I become an old man. I want more people to remember my music.” Youngjae shared.
