For The Third Year, Jack Daniel’s Has Lit The Holiday Barrel Tree In The Philippines

Jack Daniel’s celebrates the holidays by spreading the Lynchburg tradition of placing JD Holiday Barrel Trees in prominent spots around the world.

With a tree lighting event on November 13, 2019 at C1 Park, 5th Avenue, High Street Central Square, Bonifacio Global City, the world’s number one whiskey offers Yuletide cheers to the Philippines (BGC).

Jack Daniel’s has reused its own whiskey barrel to build a symbolic structure that celebrates the top whiskey brand’s main message of “it’s not what’s under the tree that matters,” as part of a long-standing tradition of sharing festive warmth to family and friends over several generations. The award-winning distillery is putting up the distinctive Holiday Barrel Tree for the third time in the Philippines. The much-anticipated global tradition made its debut in 2014 at two locations in Metro Manila: Fuente Circle in Eastwood City and The Fort Plaza in Bonifacio Global City. In 2019, the tree-lighting ceremony relocated to C1 Park, coinciding with the opening of the Jack Daniel’s Bar No. 7, the company’s first pop-up bar in the Philippines.

This year, Jack Daniel’s is constructing a new Holiday tree out of reused and deconstructed whiskey barrels. The distinctly classic design is custom-made for C1 Park, displaying a formidable but effortlessly attractive Christmas structure with meticulous craftsmanship.

Guests may also enjoy a festive experience at Jack Daniel’s Bar No. 7, a pop-up bar featuring exclusive JD Holiday drinks including the JD Holiday Highball, during this special Holiday run.

On November 29, Friday, through January 5, 2020, Jack Daniel’s will mount another Holiday Barrel Tree at Mile Hi Center, Camp John Hay in Baguio City, bringing a taste of the holiday spirit to the Northern area.
