Tasty Filipino And Chinese Food In JUS & JERRY’S!

We started craving for a bit of Filipino and Chinese food and we’re lucky to find both in JUS & JERRY’S! We have tasted a variety of Filipino and Chinese food these previous months and we’re about to add another great restaurant to the list!

JUS & JERRY’S first opened their first sore in Sampaloc, Manila in October 2010 but they decided to close it and relocated it to a bigger location in EGI Taft (DLSU) in 2011. JUS & JERRY’S are the founders and twin brothers. They first started a cafeteria-style concept with a mix of Filipino and Chinse food which was a huge gamble at the time. They had limited funds since their parents did not want to support their dream.

They eventually adapted to the market and they noticed that there was a lack of competition from Chowking in which their modernized Chinese fusion cuisine was born.

The lack of prominent Chinese fast-food chains in the area is what made the restaurant stand out for the past few years, especially to the DLSU market. They came from a Chinese family-owned restaurant but never got hands-on experience in the business. They are a 2-man operation but they installed trust and delegate more of the responsibility to their manager/supervisors. They believe that their uniqueness helped their brand evolved over time and at the same time value their customers’ feedback.

Since the start of the pandemic, they have decided to expand online with their own website and online ordering. Their current bestseller would be the “Chicken Poppers” which was introduced in their menu in 2013 and continues to be a hit among foodies.
