Disney+ Unveils New Korean Reality Show ‘My Name is Gabriel’ Premiering June 21

After years of fame and success, numerous well-known Korean celebrities give up their glory for 72 hours of normalcy in My Name Is Gabriel, a hilarious new Korean reality program that will premiere on Disney+ on June 21.

With major parts, cover shoots, and constant headlines putting them in the public eye, Korean celebrities frequently struggle to live normal lives. The film My Name Is Gabriel features several of Korea’s most renowned entertainers who are transported to a different location to experience the life of another individual for a period of 72 hours.

Separated from their friends, family, and publicists for a life assigned by an AI algorithm, the celebrities will be transferred as far afield as Chiang Mai, Chongqing, Guadalajara, and Dublin, where they will be challenged to blend in, live with a new family, and work someone else’s job.

Park Bogum (Reply 1988), Ji Changwook (The Worst of Evil), Park Myungsoo (Infinite Challenge), Yeom Hyeran (The Glory), and Gabee (TV presenter) are the stars of My Name Is Gabriel, which is produced by the renowned South Korean producer Kim Taeho (Infinite Challenge).
