MANILA Spotify introduces “Parinig Mo with Spotify” in the Philippines, revealing a brand-new Pag-ibig Hub and a fresh slate of music and podcast playlists filled with Filipinos’ favorite songs and podcasts. Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast, skypodcast, Hugot Marcelo, Payaman Insider, Zack Tabudlo, and many others will collaborate with the world’s largest audio platform to produce more than fifty new podcast episodes. From February 9, these podcasts are accessible exclusively on Spotify Free and Premium.

According to a study* done by Spotify, approximately 80% of Filipinos consider audio to be essential while consuming information on love, dating, and relationships. 53% of those polled use audio as “sound therapy” to get through difficult periods in relationships, and 40% say podcasts help them find other perspectives on love. With the new Pag-ibig Hub on Spotify, fans may anticipate new perspectives on modern love, such as situationships & the art of parinig.

With Spotify Lyrics, one of the most-requested in-app features, the Valentine’s Day season is brought to life in an interactive and shared manner. Almost four million love playlists have been produced on Spotify to date. Nearly 70% of Filipinos reported that music lyrics help them make sense of their emotions, & nearly a third of those polled published a song lyric or playlist online to communicate their emotions.
