Pepsi Philippines Enters The E-Commerce Market to expand its customer base.

While quarantine restrictions remain in place in some parts of the country, Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI), the country’s exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages, will begin accepting online orders for in-home deliveries on October 5, with the goal of strengthening relationships with its target consumers.

“We have opted to adapt e-commerce to our overall operations to heed the call of our customers who seek to have more access to our product while they are at home, due to mobility restrictions imposed by various phases of lockdown,” said PCPPI President and CEO Frederick Ong.
“We may also avoid delays caused by low foot traffic in physical locations by moving online. We put Pepsi products at your fingertips in the privacy and comfort of your own homes,” Ong added.
PCPPI is testing its e-commerce website, pepsiproducts.ph, in a few localities, including Metro Manila’s Paranaque, Las Pinas, and Muntinlupa, as well as Laguna’s San Pedro and Binan, and Cavite’s Carmona.
“Pepsiproducts.ph is another approach to make our products more accessible to entrepreneurs who wish to venture into the distribution business,” says PepsiCo. “The website provides choices for retail purchase and is also seen as an additional platform to reach out to potential dealers or partners.
According to Ong, “we are certain that this new revenue source will help PCPPI’s sales outlook in the months ahead.” To ensure smooth transactions, the company engaged separate administrative and delivery staff whose sole responsibility will be to process E-Commerce orders. In the following weeks, PCPPI plans to expand its service area to include other sections of the country.
Ong stated, “We consider this digital program as part of our efforts to encourage safe and sustainable business practices in the goal of growing with our staff, customers, and partner commun
