Shangri-La Launches Shangri-La Circle Platform and Members Day Initiative
The transformation of Shangri La’s award-winning Golden Circle loyalty program on April 28 heralded a new chapter in the hotel’s pioneering Asian hospitality. Shangri-La Circle is a modern travel and leisure platform that offers members more than a standard hotel loyalty program: simplicity, flexibility, privileges, recognition, and convenience. Shangri-La Circle will debut its new ‘Circle the Sixth’ Members Day program, giving members even more chances to live the good life with Shangri-La as part of its commitment to improving the visitor experience.
Shangri-La Circle program
The innovative new Shangri-La Circle program curates exclusive experiences. It offers unprecedented flexibility across the brand’s portfolio of hotels, restaurants and bars, wellness facilities, and family experiences, all based on the belief that life is meant to be fun, limitless, exciting, and full of possibilities. While staying, dining, and shopping with Shangri-La, members will benefit from unique pricing and promotions, expanded privileges, and a simpler approach for earning and redeeming Shangri-La Circle Points. Members’ unique adventures will be celebrated on the platform through unrivaled insider and backstage access, as well as curated customised experiences.
Shangri-La Circle comprises four membership tiers
Polaris, a new, invitation-only membership grade giving the highest level of customised privileges, is one of Shangri-La Circle’s four membership tiers. Unrestricted access to Shangri-La facilities across the world (even if you don’t stay overnight), a personal global Polaris concierge, Polaris Discovery events, and Diamond status giving to share great experiences with loved ones are just a few of the perks.
Members can also use the new Shangri-La Circle App to plan a trip, reserve a table, and buy for products at the Shangri-La Boutique. Members may also manage their accounts in one location and choose whether to book with cash or points—or a combination of both—using the app.
Circle the Sixth
Shangri-La Circle now offers members even more exclusive experiences with limited-time monthly offerings, thanks to the June introduction of ‘Circle the Sixth.’ Beginning on June 6th, fresh offers will be accessible for 48 hours each month, starting at 9 a.m. (Hong Kong Time) on the 6th and ending at 9 a.m. (Hong Kong Time) on the 8th. The Shangri-La Circle team will curate the special deals to provide fascinating new ways to live the good life.
Shangri-La Circle will introduce more than 20 staycation packages packed with customized culinary and wellness activities for the inaugural Members Day, allowing guests to personalize their Shangri-La trips. When booking these special offers on the dedicated Members Day website or the Shangri-La Circle Mobile App, Shangri-La Circle members will receive six times the Points. In addition, during the 48-hour Members Day period, Shangri-La Circle members in Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei will receive six times the Points when they shop at the Shangri-La Boutique.
With their first Shangri-La Circle encounter, new members will get 300 Bonus Points, and with ongoing spending through July 31, 2022, they can earn up to 1,500 Bonus Points. These Points can then be redeemed for a celebratory meal, a weekend break, or a wellness retreat. Shangri-La is continuing to pioneer new boundaries in hospitality with the launch of the new Shangri-La Circle platform and its ‘Circle the Sixth’ Members Day initiative.
