The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition continues to be a hot topic in sports. On Monday, March 29, One Sports broadcasted another spectacular episode of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition.”

The episode featured martial arts legends Georges St-Pierre and Renzo Gracie, who took part in a rigorous physical challenge alongside hopefuls. ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong and Advisor Niharika Singh later joined Patrick Grove, Catcha Group Co-Founder and Group CEO, in the boardroom.

On Sentosa Island, the Fort Siloso Skywalk is a physical challenge.

Candidates had to rappel down an 11-story structure and rapidly climb back up by rope ladder for the physical test. The team with the quickest total time among all candidates would be rewarded with a victory party at Bar Square and a competitive advantage in the next business competition.

The cast was startled when St-Pierre and Gracie completed the mission first, and Task Captain Dom Lau briefed the others shortly after.

Candidates from both teams had trouble rappelling down the skywalk and navigating their way up the dangling ladder. Sho Takei, a Japanese applicant, struggled with his fear of heights at first, but eventually overcame it.

Despite Sho’s struggles, his comrades rallied, and Team Valor triumphed thanks to a solid team effort.

Seven-Day Social Media Campaign is a business challenge.

To promote Andaz Singapore’s designer hotel experience, teams had to construct an engaging seven-day social media campaign, choosing between Yumika Hoskin and Justin Bratton as influencers. Team Valor received first pick because they had won the physical challenge.

Team Valor generally worked together in harmony with Filipino candidate Louie Sangalang as Project Manager, preventing Clinton Tudor from disturbing production. Meanwhile, Eugene Chung’s lack of experience as a Team Conquest captain resulted in a jumbled mess.

The mood was tight as ONE’s Siyodtong, Singh, and Catcha Group’s Grove scrutinized every part of both marketing proposals.

Team Valor’s presentation was led by Sho, Kexin Ye, and Monica Millington, who impressed Sityodtong by integrating analytics with creative concepts. On the other hand, Grove pointed out the challenge’s requirement for a defined seven-day strategy.

On the other hand, Team Conquest was given a clear plan by Niraj Puran Rao and Paulina Purnomowati, but the campaign was bland and unimaginative. Alvin Ang was chastised by Singh for not contributing enough to his team, and Roman Wilson was chastised for his PowerPoint design problems.

Double-Elimination in the Boardroom

In the business challenge, Team Valor triumphed again. Millington’s ability to develop brand identification was complimented by Sityodtong, who credited the win to a stronger proposition. On the other hand, Ang, Chung, and Wilson from Team Conquest were sent packing by ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui.

The ONE CEO was inspired by Chung’s passionate speech about transforming his life and the inspiration he drew from Sityodtong’s rags-to-riches journey.

Chung was kept on the program because of this, while Wilson’s indifference and Ang’s lack of participation saw both dismissed from the competition.
