In front of the background of Chungryeongsan Mountain, The Garden of Morning Calm displays the splendour of Korean horticulture. The garden’s 20 themed parts are connected by lovely walkways and was inaugurated in May 1996 by horticulture expert Han Sang-kyung.
The Korean Peninsula-shaped Sunken Garden is covered in lovely flowers on both sides, symbolizing the wish for South and North Korea to be united.
