If you’re an Plant Tito or Plant Tita, than this hidden gem in Tagaytay is just for you. The GREENHOUSE CAFE is actually a greenhouse covered with plants next to beautiful table and chairs. The moment you step into the restaurant, you are greeted with the sight of plants.
Every plant at the GREENHOUSE CAFE is for sale. The most expensive plant could be around PHP 60,000- PHP 70,000 while the most affordable plant is only for PHP 100. There is no air-conditioning since the cool Tagaytay weather will cool you down and fresh air is good for the plants.
You will surely feel relaxed with the interior and homey vibe. The best part is the food! You can get some authentic, delicious and affordable Filipino food! We ordered the Signature Adobo Pork Belly Slab, Hickory Baby Back Ribs, and Charcoal Grilled Chicken Barbecue. None of what we ordered went above PHP 350!
What we loved about this cafe is it’s also pet-friendly! Owners are expected to watched over their pets since the plants at the GREENHOUSE CAFE can be be poisonous to the pets. The GREENHOUSE CAFE is also available for rent for special occasions. It will cost PHP 14,000 for the venue for 4 hours. This cafe is just perfect not only for plant lovers but for couples, friends and families.
