Dave & Buster’s to Open First Branch in the Philippines This 2025

Dave & Buster’s is officially coming to the Philippines. A groundbreaking ceremony was held today at the upcoming site on the third level of Opus Mall in Pasig and Quezon City. The event signals the start of construction for the first Dave & Buster’s location in the country.

In partnership with The Bistro Group, the 1,560-square-meter space is set to open in September 2025. The location will include a full-service restaurant and bar along with a range of arcade games and entertainment. The concept combines dining and interactive gameplay in one venue.

The Manila store will feature several games currently unavailable elsewhere in the country. These include Stepmaniax Arcade De Luxe by Step Revolution, Super Blaster by Trio Tech, NBA Superstar Worldwide by Raw Thrills, Water Gun Pixel by Bob Space Racer and Goatz and Rope by Baytex. The lineup also includes Godzilla VR and the Fast & Furious Arcade with a dual monitor setup.

Antonio Bautista, Chief International Development Officer at Dave & Buster’s, said the brand offers an experience that brings together food, drinks, games and live sports. He joined representatives from The Bistro Group for the ceremonial launch and said the company is focused on expanding internationally with the Philippines as a key part of that plan.

Jean Paul Manuud, president of The Bistro Group, said the concept is a good fit for the local market. He said Dave & Buster’s brings something new to the food and hospitality space by offering a mix of dining and entertainment in one location. “It’s not just for families or groups of friends,” Manuud said. “It’s designed for all age groups. Some may come to eat while others play games or watch sports at the bar. It’s a flexible space where people can spend time together.”

Founded in 1982 and based in Coppell, Texas, Dave & Buster’s operates more than 200 venues across North America under two brands: Dave & Buster’s and Main Event. The company currently has 165 Dave & Buster’s locations and 52 Main Event centers across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The brand continues to expand globally with the Manila location marking its entry into the Southeast Asian market.
