As INFINITE’s main rapper and dancer, Dong Woo also impresses with his strong vocals. With his wide range of talents, he truly stands out as a well-rounded artist. He not only performs but also writes and produces his own songs, showing his skills and passion for music.

His previous visit to Manila was in 2015 for INFINITE’s second world tour, Infinite Effect in Manila. Ten years later, he returned as a soloist, much to the excitement of Filipino Inspirits who had long awaited his comeback to the country. Prior to the Manila leg of his fan-con, Dong Woo first toured in Seoul, followed by Taipei and Kuala Lumpur.

Dong Woo opened his solo fan-con in Manila with back-to-back energetic performances of ‘TGIF’ and ‘Romeo’. “Inspirit, ako po si Jang Dong Woo,” he introduced himself with a big smile. His greeting, paired with his signature laugh, echoed throughout the venue, making everyone smile and laugh along with him. “Since it’s been a long time, I really, really miss your voices,” Dong Woo said to Filipino Inspirits.

He also shared that he had been looking forward to returning to the Philippines, noting that it had been 10 years since his last visit. “To make the ten years worth it, I’m going to pour everything tonight!” he exclaimed. “The Philippines is very special to me,” he added sincerely.

In the first segment of his show, Dong Woo presented his “ddoddostagram,” a collection of photos he took during his stay in Manila. He arrived two days before the fan-con and spent his time exploring different places around the metro, trying a variety of local dishes, and even sharing pictures from his gym visit. A highlight of this segment was his fun encounter with Jollibee, the beloved mascot of the Philippines’ most famous fast food chain. Ending the first segment of his show, he performed two of his solo tracks, ‘News’ and ‘Gun’.

Dong Woo returned to the stage to perform an unreleased song, the title of which has yet to be decided. He shared a few possible titles with the fans: “Checkmate,” “Tick Tack Toe,” and “Game’s Over.” The track features a catchy, groovy beat that’s sure to get you on your feet. “This song will be listed in a new album that will be released in November,” Dong Woo revealed. He followed the set with an energetic stage of ‘Party Girl’.

The second segment of his fan-con featured a game show-style activity titled “2025 JDW Awards.” Dong Woo asked a series of questions, and fans had to choose between two options by raising either the #1 or #2 banner, depending on their answer. With each question, the number of fan-players decreased, but the excitement in the venue continued to grow. The lucky Inspirits who made it to the final questions and answered correctly received a poster, signed by Dong Woo on the spot.

Delivering another powerful stage, Dong Woo performed his own renditions of “Sugarcoat” by Natty of KISS OF LIFE and “UP” by Karina of aespa. Moments later, he continued with performances of “Something Between” and “PERFECT.”

Filipino Inspirits surprised Dong Woo with a touching video and a cake, which moved him to tears. A heartfelt roll-down banner from the fans read, “Even from a distance, our CONNECTION stays strong. Our love is NEVER ENDING.”

“Thank you so much for all the Inspirits who actually came for the show today,” he expressed his gratitude to the fans. “Just like I was able to mention that you guys are my second family, please do not get sick,” he added.

Dong Woo’s fan service was just as impressive as his talent. While performing ‘You (Dream High)’ he stepped off the stage to get closer to Inspirits, giving flowers, signing their albums and other items, granting photo and video selfie requests, and truly making fans feel special. He also responded to requests to sing INFINITE and INFINITE H songs, including ‘Special Girl’, and ‘Man In Love’.

Concluding his first solo fan-con, Jang Dong Woo performed INFINITE’s ‘Be Mine’.
