Doh Kyungsoo, better known as EXO’s D.O., returned to Manila with his first full solo concert. As part of his 2025 Asia Concert Tour “DO It,” Kyungsoo performed at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on August 16. The concert was highly anticipated, and fans showed up in full force to welcome him back to the Philippines.

Despite heavy rains earlier in the day, the venue was filled with enthusiastic fans dressed in coordinated white outfits, waving glowing lightsticks that transformed the arena into a vibrant ocean of eribong and dohbong. Their cheers quickly turned into deafening sing-alongs as Kyungsoo opened the concert with “Do You Remember?”, followed by “Nobody Knows It,” “Wonder,” and “Mars.”

Accompanied by a live band, Kyungsoo’s voice resonated powerfully across the venue. His melancholic yet soothing vocals left fans captivated, almost as if they were being drenched in cool water.

The concert also included a special moment for longtime EXO fans. Kyungsoo performed parts of Love Me Right and Peter Pan, two tracks from his group’s catalog that instantly drew cheers. He remarked that performing EXO songs always makes him happy.

For the encore Kyungsoo returned to the stage to perform Somebody followed by Rose, closing the night on a lively and interactive note.

Throughout the concert Kyungsoo took time to speak to the audience. He shared his initial concerns about the weather, then expressed relief that fans were able to come despite the downpour. “The weather was terrible earlier, wasn’t it? I was worried if the fans could come. But look at the weather now it’s so beautiful! It’s so fun, isn’t it?” he said.

At one point he noted the number of male fans in attendance and admitted his surprise. After performing I Do he told the crowd, “I really feel like you are happy. Philippines is the best.”

He also reflected on his most recent album Bliss, saying he created it with the thought that listeners might find courage and warmth through the songs. The sincerity of his message connected with fans who had followed both his acting and musical career. The evening demonstrated how he has grown as an artist while still carrying the same steady presence that first gained attention through EXO.

Toward the end of the show, Filipino fans surprised him with a video presentation and LED letters that spelled out, “We can DOH it all with Kyungsoo.” The gesture brought a smile to his face as he thanked the crowd again. Before leaving the stage he promised to return, saying, “Thank you for coming. Thank you for continuing to cheer me on. I hope this day will be a beautiful memory for you. I give you the promise that I will return. Philippines, thank you so much.”

Kyungsoo’s “DO IT” concert in Manila stood as proof of his steady career as both an actor and a singer. With strong support from fans, he showed that his music has a place beyond group performances. The smiles and cheers that filled the arena reflected a bond that remains strong. The promise of his return made the concert feel not like a farewell but another chapter in the continuing story between Kyungsoo and his Filipino fans.
