The wait was absolutely worth it for PH Storytellers as MY FIRST STORY finally set foot in the Philippines and performed for the very first time on July 24, 2025, at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

Known for their powerful stages, MY FIRST STORY is composed of Hiro on vocals, Teru on guitar, Nobu on bass, and Kid’z on drums. The Japanese rock band has released a number of hit tracks over the years, with several of their songs featured as official soundtracks in various anime series.

As if on cue, the moment the members stepped onto the stage and started playing, the fans instantly stood up, clapped their hands, and filled the venue with loud cheers. The energy was definitely contagious.

MY FIRST STORY kicked off their first Manila concert with an explosive intro that transitioned into their song ‘WINNER’. Storytellers were on their feet, jumping and vibing along to the energetic track. “Everybody jump!” vocalist Hiro shouted, firing up the crowd even more as the band played ‘Mirage’ and ‘Tokyo Midnight’.

“Hello, Manila! We are MY FIRST STORY!” Hiro introduced the band, and the fans screamed in response. The band kept the energy flowing with ‘Boyfriend’, ‘PARADOX’, ‘mine’, ‘Halzion’, ‘Love Affair’, and ‘BREAK IT DOWN’.

Slowing it down, the band took their chance to introduce themselves individually. “Hello everyone! How are you?” drummer Kid’z started off. He continued, “Masaya akong makita kayo! Kami ang MY FIRST STORY. Ako po si Kid’z!” The other members followed. “Ako po si Nobu,” the bassist said. “Ako po si Teru,” added the guitarist. And lastly, “Ako po si Hiro,” said the vocalist.

This moment felt like a Tagalog session for the band. “Mahal ko ang Pilipinas,” Kid’z said, earning loud cheers from the crowd. The members interacted playfully with the fans, who chanted, “Pogi! Pogi!” The band joined in on the fun, adding a drum beat to match the chant. They also said phrases like “Sumigaw kayo!”, “Tara na!”, and “Ang galing niyo!”, which hyped the crowd even more.

The band continued their performance with their emotional track ‘Confession’, during which they were surprised by a sea of lights initiated by the fans. Mid-performance, Hiro said, “Thank you, guys,” expressing his gratitude to their Storytellers.

The rock-and-roll energy kept going as the band performed ‘KING & ASHLEY’, the opening theme for the anime Kengan Ashura, followed by hard-hitting tracks like ‘Zero Gravity’, ‘MONSTER’, ‘ACCIDENT’, and ‘Monokuro Effector’.

Making the fans go even wilder, the band performed ‘MUGEN’, a well-known track and official soundtrack of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc. The excitement didn’t stop as they quickly followed up with their hit song, ‘I’m a mess’. The crowd sang along passionately from start to finish.

“This is a beautiful night. Thank you so much!” Hiro thanked their fans once again. MY FIRST STORY concluded their first concert in Manila with back-to-back performances of ‘ALONE’ and ‘Fukagyaku Replace’.

MY FIRST STORY ASIA TOUR 2025 in Manila is presented by Pulp Live World.
