GH Mall Opens the Season With ‘Holidays Around the World’

For many Filipinos, Christmas is a season built on shared moments. It is the sound of laughter over meals, children running toward bright displays, families strolling through decorated streets and malls, choirs filling the air with music, the familiar scent of Christmas ham, church bells during Simbang Gabi and the simple feeling that loved ones feel closer this time of year.

GH Mall welcomed this spirit as it opened the holiday season with its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony last November 14 at the East Wing Atrium.

The event brought together special guests and city officials, including San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, Ortigas Land President and CEO Junie Jalandoni, EVA Airways Corporation General Manager Rick Hsieh and RCBC Chief Commercial Officer Mylene J. Bico. They joined the community in marking the start of the season.

GH Mall carried the theme “Holidays Around the World,” created in partnership with Taiwanese airline EVA Air. The collaboration brought a travel-inspired approach to the mall’s décor and celebrations.

This year’s Christmas tree featured a Texan influence, inspired by EVA Air’s new Taipei–Dallas–Fort Worth route that expands travel options for Filipinos heading to North America.

Adding to the festivities, RCBC introduced its “Holidays Around the World” Raffle Promo, which runs until January 15, 2026. RCBC credit cardholders who shop or dine at GH Mall during the promo period can earn entries for a chance to win EVA Air tickets to selected international destinations.

The Travel Fair 2025: Adventure Unlimited was also held at GH Mall from November 13 to 16. It was the mall’s first travel fair and featured exclusive offers for RCBC credit cardholders. Participating airlines included Philippine Airlines, EVA Air, Japan Airlines, AirAsia, AirAsia Move, ANA, Qantas, Jetstar and United Airlines. It gave travelers the chance to plan trips for the holiday season and the coming year.

As the celebrations continue, GH Mall offers global flavors through restaurants that serve Japanese, Korean and Italian dishes that are ideal for gatherings. Shoppers can also explore international brands for gifting and personal treats.
