KOSTCON 2025 Manila Showcases K-Drama OST Favorites
KOSTCON Manila 2025 brought seven South Korean artists to one stage for a night dedicated to the music that shaped many K-drama moments. With thirty-five songs performed live, the event became a gathering point for fans who wanted to experience the soundtracks that defined their favorite series.


The concert opened with Lee Mu Jin, marking his first time performing in Manila. Known for his soft and emotional vocals, he began with “Ordinary Confession” before moving to “Rest” from Castaway Diva (2023), “Rain and You” from Hospital Playlist and “Sweet” from Business Proposal. Each song carried its own connection to memorable drama scenes, and he ended with his single “Episode”, leaving the crowd on a high note.
Following him was Heize, bringing her distinct style to the stage. She started with “The Last” from Our Blues, then “Can You See My Heart” from Hotel Del Luna, a track tied to one of the most popular fantasy dramas in recent years. She added “You Are the One” from Tastefully Yours and “Hold Me Back” from Queen of Tears (2024), showing her range from heartfelt ballads to modern pop-infused OSTs. She closed with her singles “Happen” and “And July”. A standout moment came when she gifted a fan a signed Our Blues OST album along with a sunflower.


SoYou, a familiar name in the OST scene, was next. Her smooth vocals filled the arena with “I Miss You” from Goblin, “No Sleep” from Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and “Once More” from Empress Ki. She also performed “It’s Okay” from When the Camellia Blooms before ending with “Some” from She Was Pretty. Each track carried a link to beloved dramas, and the audience responded with steady sing-alongs.
The energy rose further with Chen of EXO. Opening with “Best Luck” from It’s Okay That’s Love (2014) and “Make It Count” from Touch Your Heart. The biggest reaction came when he sang “Everytime” from Descendants of the Sun, a drama remembered for its military romance and iconic soundtrack. Fans sang along loudly before Chen ended his set with his solo “Broken Party”.


K.Will made his Manila debut with “Love Blossom” from his 2013 album, followed by “All I Have is My Heart” from Ghost Doctor (2022) and “Beautiful Moment” from The Beauty Inside (2018). He also performed “Talk Love” from Descendants of the Sun, connecting with fans who remembered the track from the drama’s lighter moments. He closed with “Please Don’t”, one of his most well-known ballads.
Known for his powerful voice and ballad mastery, Kim Bum Soo began his set with “A Love Begins from Confession” from The Producers. He performed his new song “Journey”, which reflects his 25-year career, before moving to “Appear” from Secret Garden (2010). He then sang “I Miss You” from Stairway to Heaven (2003), a track that remains one of the most recognizable drama ballads. His closing song “Last Love” left the audience in a reflective mood.

The night’s final solo set came from LYn, often referred to as the “Queen of OSTs”. She opened with “We Were in Love” from Are You Human? (2018) followed by “With You” from Descendants of the Sun. In between, she sang short a cappella versions of “Love” and “Teddy Bear”. She then performed “Love Story” from The Legend of the Blue Sea, “My Destiny” from My Love from the Star (2013), and closed with “Back in Time” from The Moon that Embraces the Sun.
For the finale, all seven artists returned to the stage for a group photo with the fans. The moment captured the spirit of the event a shared appreciation for music that ties together stories, emotions, and memories.
KOSTCON 2025 was more than a collection of live performances. It acted as a bridge between viewers’ memories of their favorite dramas and the artists who gave voice to those moments. Each song was a reminder of a scene, a character, or a storyline that left an impression. The Manila audience responded with enthusiasm from the opening note to the last, showing the strong connection between K-drama music and its global fans.
