Han So Hee Captivates Fans at Okada Manila’s Premium Fan Experience
‘Nevertheless’ actress, Han So Hee, graced The Cove at Okada Manila on September 13, 2025, for her first-ever premium fan meeting experience in the Philippines, offering an intimate and unforgettable encounter with her fans.
Han So Hee is best known for starring in hit dramas such as The World of the Married, Nevertheless, My Name, and Gyeongseong Creature. She has become one of the most iconic K-drama actresses worldwide, admired for her charm both on and off screen. Her beauty is no surprise, but in person, Han Sohee’s stunning, elegant visuals looked like she stepped straight out of a webtoon and perfectly complemented the luxurious ambiance of Okada Manila’s The Cove.
While she has showcased her talents through acting and drawing, her genuine interactions with fans through games, special performances, and heartfelt moments of appreciation truly allowed them to connect with Han Sohee beyond the screen.
Han So Hee’s Fan Meeting in The Cove
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement as the LED screens at Okada Manila showcased Han So Hee’s fan meeting. Many arrived hours in advance to explore the fanzone, where they penned messages for the actress, shared their love for her over coffee, and traded souvenirs.
There was also a special giveaway for the fans from the star. Upon entering the venue, the sight of the night sky across Cove Manila’s vast dome, paired with the cozy cabanas, made the space feel even more dreamy.
It was an experience like no other. Fans relaxed in the cabanas before the show, while others enjoyed the breathtaking view from their seats
Making it all happen behind the scenes was L-Squared Prod Inc., which teamed up with Cove Manila to bring the fan meeting to life. It has set the bar for what a top-tier fan experience should feel like.
Queen of Fan Service
An angel seemed to appear before our eyes as the actress took the stage in an elegant white dress, greeting her Filipino fans for the very first time during the fan meeting. Everyone was instantly enchanted by her radiant smile and impeccable style, but it was her genuine personality that truly made the night unforgettable for all.
Han So Hee waved warmly to every fan she saw and even went out of her way to make dreams come true by hugging and taking a selfie with her fans.
The fans stood in awe with admiration towards Han So Hee, and it was the same for the actress as she felt overjoyed with the Filipino fans’ overwhelming love and support for her
The actress revealed that the fan meeting, titled “Xohee Loved Ones, You Are Sparkling Treasures to Me,” was her own idea. It was her way of giving back to the fans who have shown her endless love, describing them as treasures in her life. She personally created the title and planned the event to express just how precious her fans are to her. During the meeting, she also shared a short film she made, explaining that the mannequin featured in the clip represents her fans.
She said the film reflects how she feels about her fans when she’s alone. “It’s long, so I hope you get the message—this is my perspective of seeing the fans as Han So Hee.”
Games with Han So Hee
During the first segment, Han So Hee was asked which of her characters—from Nevertheless, Soundtrack 101, My Name, and Gyeongsang Creature, would make the best travel companion. She chose Lee Eun Su, despite fans voting for Yu Na Bi. She also shared her desire to try playing a psychopath role someday, acknowledging the challenge of portraying complex emotions but expressing confidence that she could do it. She hinted at her upcoming project, the film The Intern, saying, “Have you guys watched The Intern? I’m playing the role of a CEO.”
When asked about her favorite traditional Filipino dishes, she admitted she hadn’t tried any yet since she had just arrived from Canada that morning. However, among the options, she chose bulalo because it’s similar to a Korean dish, gomtang. On whether she had been to the Philippines before, she replied, “I’ve gone to the Philippines for work and vacation, but this is my first time in Manila.”
In another segment, fan drawings of Han So Hee were displayed on screen. Fans then chose a pose from the artwork to imitate, and the actress reenacted several—including the autograph pose with a pen cap in her mouth, the boxing gloves pose, the hair flip with the wind effect from the airport, and the one holding a fan from her game endorsement.
Next, a quiz tested the fans’ knowledge of Han So Hee, with the winner receiving a prize. During the game, she revealed she is a night owl who enjoys binge-watching shows, can watch horror films alone—recommending The Shining, and hasn’t tried snorkeling yet. She also expressed how much she enjoys working with a close-knit team, like her “Avengers team” for seven years. When it comes to multitasking, she said she prefers focusing on one thing at a time. Lately, she’s been enjoying listening to K-pop.
One of the highlights was the Drawing Game with Xohee, where she showcased her drawing skills, intelligence under a timer,, humor, and warmth. After the game, she hugged all the participants and even signed a cap.
The fun didn’t stop there. Han So Hee read fan letters during the “Xohee’s Must Do List” segment, took a selfie with a fan who requested it, and hugged another fan celebrating her birthday. Throughout the night, Han So Hee made sure to notice everyone and ensure that the fans’ experience was truly memorable.
She expressed, “I really want to meet you all more often, with more and better characters, and in different kinds of dramas.”
Message for the Fans
Before the fan meeting concluded, a fan-made video dedicated to Han So Hee was played on the screen during the scheduled photo opportunity. The heartfelt tribute moved her to tears, prompting her to briefly pause and retouch her makeup before continuing with the photo session.
Han So Hee thanked her fans sincerely:
“First and foremost, thank you for reminding me that I’m not alone. There were many times I had to overcome struggles, but my fans were always there to lift me up when I felt lonely. Moving forward, I want to be the one to protect you, my fans.”
She added, “Thank you so much for staying with me until this late hour and for the loud cheers you’ve given me. Today will truly be an unforgettable day in my life. Until the next time we see each other, stay healthy and always be happy.”
