Jung Kook Teases New Single “Never Let Go” Ahead of BTS FESTA 2024

Jung Kook is set to drop some fresh beats, much to the excitement of ARMY. On Sunday (June 2), it was revealed that his new single, “Never Let Go,” will be released on June 7 at 1 p.m. KST. Fans can catch the release on Weverse and BTS’ official social media platforms.

According to HYBE, “Never Let Go” is a heartfelt tribute to BTS’ dedicated fans, ARMY, with a touching message about holding on to each other through thick and thin.

This marks Jung Kook’s first solo venture since his 2023 debut album, Golden, which soared to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

In other BTS news, the group announced their plans for the 2024 FESTA celebration on Saturday (June 1). The event, scheduled for June 13 at the Seoul Sports Complex, will commemorate the K-pop giants’ 11th anniversary.

A highlight of the 2024 FESTA will be BTS’ Jin making his first official appearance following his mandatory military service. The celebration promises a variety of engaging activities, including a special sketch diary to honor BTS’ remarkable journey over the past 11 years.

Currently, Jung Kook and his fellow members Jin, RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, and V are serving their mandatory 18-month military enlistments, a requirement for all able-bodied South Korean men by the age of 28. Despite their military commitments, several members have pursued solo projects, and the group is slated to reunite for collective activities in 2025.
