HONOR Magic V6 Named EISA Foldable Smartphone 2026-2027 as HONOR Ranks Among Global Top 4

HONOR Philippines, a leading global provider of AI devices, is marking a new achievement after the HONOR Magic V6 was named EISA Foldable Smartphone 2026-2027 by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). The award recognizes the device’s standout combination of power, battery life, and build durability.

EISA’s judges pointed to the Magic V6’s 3nm Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, up to 16GB of RAM, 120Hz AMOLED displays, and a 6,660mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery that supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging. The panel also singled out the phone’s IP68 and IP69 certifications, describing them as a major leap forward for durability and resilience in the foldable smartphone category.

Per Omdia’s 2Q26 research, HONOR placed No. 4 among smartphone brands in both the Philippines and Malaysia, putting it among the top five smartphone vendors in each market.

That growth stands out against a difficult stretch for the regional smartphone industry, where shipments across Southeast Asia fell 23% year-on-year in 2Q26. HONOR’s climb into the region’s top ranks despite that downturn points to rising demand for its mid-range and premium lineups.

The HONOR Magic V6 is open for pre-order from August 25 to September 4, 2026, priced at Php 119,999 and available in Red, Gold, and White. Shoppers who pre-order through any HONOR Experience or Partner Store, or online, will receive a free HONOR Pad X8b (worth Php 12,999) when they claim their device starting September 5.
