BTS Jungkook’s first solo album is topping iTunes charts worldwide!

A few hours after Jungkook released his highly-anticipated solo album GOLDEN and its title track “Standing Next to You.” Immediately following their release, the album and song shot to the top of iTunes charts in many countries.

As reported by BIGHIT MUSIC on November 4, “GOLDEN” had already topped iTunes Top Albums charts in 77 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Canada, and Japan.

“Standing Next to You” reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 71 different regions, including Greece, Qatar and Poland. It also made a strong debut on Melon’s Top 100 chart in Korea, reaching No. 4 at midnight on November 4.

Additionally, “GOLDEN” was the first solo album in Hanteo history to sell over 2 million copies on its first day of release, and broke the record for the highest first-week sales of any solo album.
