Stay Safe on the Road with inDrive’s This Holiday Season

As the holiday season approaches, the demand for road trips and travel spikes, especially during Undas and Christmas. To ensure safe and secure rides, ride-hailing app inDrive is stepping up with its #inDriveLigtasBiyahe campaign. By bolstering its security features and enhancing its driver training programs, inDrive aims to provide passengers with a safer, more reliable ride experience.

Afanasii Petrov, inDrive’s Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia Macroregion, emphasized the company’s commitment to continuously updating its security protocols. “At inDrive, we harness the power of machine learning and partner with Laban TNVS to improve our security policies. Staying on top of tech trends and connected with people on the ground helps us keep both drivers and passengers safe, especially during peak seasons,” Petrov stated.
Enhanced In-App Security Features
InDrive has introduced new in-app security features designed to improve data protection and ensure safe journeys. The app now boasts stronger encryption protocols for rider and driver information, along with regular system audits to guarantee data transparency.
The upgraded Safety Centre allows users to list up to five trusted contacts, ensuring that during emergencies, support teams can reach out promptly. Additionally, the app’s rating and review system has been refined to flag drivers needing further assessment based on passenger feedback, ensuring a high standard of service.
In line with emerging tech trends, inDrive has incorporated machine learning into its platform, enabling it to detect fraudulent documents during driver vetting, automate vehicle photo verification, and moderate avatars for both drivers and passengers. These machine learning enhancements also aid in identifying and neutralizing potential security threats swiftly.
Comprehensive Driver Training and Compliance
InDrive’s commitment to safety extends beyond technology. Through its partnership with Laban TNVS, the company has strengthened its annual training program for partner drivers, focusing on data privacy, local laws, and road safety regulations. This training ensures that drivers comply with legal requirements while honing their skills to offer top-tier services.
The partnership also highlights the importance of continuous education, with Laban TNVS President Jun De Leon expressing appreciation for inDrive’s efforts. “This collaboration is a valuable opportunity for our partner drivers to improve their skills and offer better services. We are grateful to work with inDrive, a company that shares our values of safety and service excellence,” De Leon said.
