Mitski to Make Philippine Concert Debut in Manila This July
Filipino fans will finally have the chance to see Mitski live as the acclaimed singer-songwriter brings her latest album era to Manila for the first time.
Presented by PULP Live World, Mitski “Nothing’s About to Happen to Me” in Manila will take place on July 14, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The concert marks Mitski’s first performance in the Philippines and follows the release of her eighth studio album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me.

Mitski began her career by independently releasing Lush in 2012 and Retired from Sad, New Career in Business in 2013 while attending college. She later gained wider recognition with Bury Me at Makeout Creek in 2014, a guitar-driven record that introduced listeners to her candid songwriting and distinct approach to indie rock.
Her following continued to grow through albums such as Puberty 2 in 2016 and Be the Cowboy in 2018. The latter featured some of her most recognizable songs, including “Nobody” and “Washing Machine Heart.”
Other tracks such as “Your Best American Girl” also became closely associated with Mitski’s work, which often explores identity, isolation, longing and complicated relationships.
Mitski reached an even wider audience with “My Love Mine All Mine” from her 2023 album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. The song gained global attention and became one of the most successful releases of her career.
A new chapter for Mitski
Released on February 27, 2026, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me marks another chapter in Mitski’s discography. The album was introduced through its lead single, “Where’s My Phone?”, which was accompanied by an official music video.
Following the album’s release, Mitski is bringing the record to the live stage. Her Manila concert is expected to feature songs from the new album alongside selections from her previous releases.
Known for incorporating movement, theatrical elements and carefully designed staging into her performances, Mitski has developed a live show that places as much emphasis on visual storytelling as it does on the music.
The upcoming concert fulfills a long-standing request from Filipino listeners who have followed her career through the years but have yet to see her perform in the country.
