ONE OR EIGHT to Bring Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8- to Manila
Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT is heading to nila as part of its upcoming Southeast Asian showcase tour.
The eight-member group will stage the ONE OR EIGHT Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8- at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier, on October 23, 2026, giving Filipino fans the opportunity to see the rising Japanese act perform live.
The Manila stop comes as ONE OR EIGHT continues to expand its presence outside Japan following its first ONE OR EIGHT 1st LIVE TOUR -GATHER-, which brought the group to audiences across North and South America.
For its upcoming Southeast Asian run, the group will open the tour at Victoria Theatre in Singapore on October 21, before performing in Manila on October 23. The three-city tour will conclude at Lido Hall 2, Lido Connect in Bangkok on October 25.
ONE OR EIGHT is composed of eight members: MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA.
The group’s name draws inspiration from the Japanese expression “ichi ka bachi ka,” which refers to taking an all-or-nothing chance. Paired with the group’s tagline, “BET ON YOURSELF,” the concept represents its determination to pursue ambitious goals, push beyond boundaries, and bring its music to audiences worldwide.
Since debuting in August 2024, ONE OR EIGHT has steadily built an international following.
Its track “TOKYO DRIFT” generated more than 200,000 pieces of user-generated content on TikTok and surpassed 300 million views. The song also entered the Mediabase Top 40, contributing to the group’s growing profile outside Japan.
ONE OR EIGHT was also included in Nikkei Entertainment!’s 100 New Leading Artists and received the Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group award at the MTV VMAJ 2025 in Japan. The group was additionally named New Artist of the Year at the 2025 Music Awards organized by China’s NetEase.
As part of its international expansion, ONE OR EIGHT has collaborated with producers and artists including Ryan Tedder, David Stewart, and Big Sean, further developing a sound aimed at connecting Japanese pop music with global audiences.
Before the Southeast Asian showcase tour, ONE OR EIGHT is set to release its first EP, “EN-GiNE,” on September 16, 2026.
The EP’s title combines the Japanese word “EN” (縁), referring to connection or fate, with “GENE.” Together, the words represent the energy and relationships formed among the members and between ONE OR EIGHT and its fans.
Following the release of “YANKEE SQUAT,” the group recently introduced “INVINCIBLE,” the second single from the upcoming EP.
Dedicated to the group’s fans, known as 1DERZ, “INVINCIBLE” centers on the idea that meaningful journeys are not taken alone. The track reflects the trust, gratitude, and connection ONE OR EIGHT has developed with its supporters since its debut.
The upcoming Special SHOW CASE 2026 in ASIA -V8- will bring that connection directly to fans across Southeast Asia, including the group’s supporters in the Philippines.
