Ahn Bo Hyun Charms Fans for his First-Ever Fan Meet in Manila

The boss has finally met his beloved fans “Hello! Ahn Bo Hyun in Manila” made a night of core memories for everyone.

As the rain does not seem to let the high spirit of exciting fans be drowned out. As the rain started to drizzle—-cheers and support for Ahn Bo Hyun’s first-ever fan meet in Manila poured. The New Frontier Theatre is filled with a very ecstatic crowd, ready to meet one of the most sought after oppa of his generation— Ahn Bo Hyun.

The Charm Of a Ballader

Not only is Han Bo Hyun a really good actor, he was also able to showcase his singing skill through opening the show with the song “Start”, as a part of the official soundtrack (OST) from one of the hit K-series he starred in, “Itaewon Class”. The uproar of cheers started to fill out the venue even more.

Further, with a soft spoken yet gentle giant manner—Ahn Bo Hyun greets the crowd with a Tagalog phrase. “Mabuhay, ako po si Ahn Bo Hyun,” greeting that is short yet sweet for starters. He even mentioned a promise to try and learn more of the Filipino language soon.

It’s Game Time

Following the warm up introduction to the show, Ahn Bo Hyun sits down with a getting to know more segment with host Sam Oh. “Boss-tagram” is the first game to break the ice, Bo Hyun was shown some snaps from his Instagram account and tries to recall such fond memories of him during the time the photos were taken. It was so relaxed and it somehow feels like having a very intimate conversation with Bo Hyun.

Moreover, the show held a mini awards segment called “Boss Awards” where pre-show–fans were asked to vote via putting stickers on their best answers. The goal of the awards is to know if Bo Hyun and his fans’ have good telepathic skills to answer the same question. It was a fun filled experience for the crowd.

A question and answer portion called “pre-epilogue” went on as fans were then able to ask Bo Hyun personally. Call it a lucky day for the crowd.

It’s Like In K-Drama But It’s Real Life

The show further walked through more of Bo Hyun’s unmatched fan service. Welcoming yet another song “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez whilst walking down the crowd to get up-close and personal. Some were able to complete a heart sign, take selfies, or hold hands with Bo Hyun.

More than that, fans drawn via raffle were asked to join Bo Hyun on stage and play a relay game. Apart from winning exclusive merchs from the show, the actual win would be rubbing elbows with oppa Bo Hyun and even getting hugged by him! It’s the real K-drama moment off screen.

A quiz game was also held that gave fans a chance to get signed posters and take a polaroid picture with Bo Hyun.

The night was filled with hearts that are full of love for him, giving back—a fan project to send thanks is prepared for Bo Hyun. He was so moved that it even got him teary-eyed.

Bo Hyun gives an encore performance of “October Rain” and “I’ll Embrace Your Past” from his series “See You In My 19th Life.” Further wrapping up the night, it ends with a sweet hi-bye session from him—making it a night to always remember in any lifetime.
