Babyface Greatest Hits Concert Manila July

Singer, songwriter and producer Babyface is returning to the Philippines for a one-night concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on July 14, 2025. The show, titled Greatest Hits Concert, is presented by Ovation Productions and will feature songs spanning his career.

With 13 GRAMMY Awards to his name, Babyface is one of the most respected figures in R&B and pop. He remains the only producer to have won Producer of the Year four times at the GRAMMYs, with three of those awarded in consecutive years from 1995 to 1997.

Babyface’s catalog includes well-known albums such as Tender Lover released in 1989, which featured the title track “Tender Lover.” In 1993, For the Cool in You followed, with memorable songs like “Never Keeping Secrets” and “When Can I See You.” In 1996, The Day included the popular single “Every Time I Close My Eyes.” In 2014, he collaborated with Toni Braxton for the album Love, Marriage & Divorce, which later won a GRAMMY.

Aside from his own releases, Babyface has written and produced songs for some of the most successful artists across multiple genres. His work includes music for Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyoncé, Eric Clapton, Ariana Grande, Boyz II Men, Bruno Mars, Mary J. Blige, NSYNC, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Phil Collins, and many others. His songwriting and production have contributed to more than 800 million records sold and over a billion streams. This includes 125 Top 10 hits, 45 number-one R&B hits, and 16 number-one pop hits.

In 2024, he earned his 13th GRAMMY for Best R&B Song for “Snooze” by SZA. He was also nominated for Best R&B Album for Girls Night Out and for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Simple,” a track with Coco Jones. In July 2023, his single “As a matter of fact” reached number one on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart, marking his first solo number-one in 26 years.

Girls Night Out, released in October 2022, features Babyface collaborating with today’s female R&B artists. The album includes songs with Ella Mai, Kehlani, Ari Lennox, Queen Naija, Tink, Coco Jones, and others. The single “Keeps On Fallin’” featuring Ella Mai received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Traditional R&B Performance and topped the Mediabase R&B chart.

Throughout his career, Babyface has received various industry honors. These include 52 BMI Awards, seven BMI Pop Songwriter of the Year titles, five Soul Train Awards, five NAACP Image Awards, and four American Music Awards. He also co-wrote and produced the Oscar-winning song “When You Believe” performed by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Babyface was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013, inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017, honored with the BMI Icon Award, and recognized by the Apollo Theater with its Legacy Award.

Tickets for Babyface’s Greatest Hits Concert in Manila go on sale at 12:00 noon on May 16, 2025, via smtickets.com. Prices are ₱8,880, ₱8,380, ₱7,880, ₱6,580, ₱6,080, ₱4,580 and ₱2,580. All prices include ticketing charges.
