Burnout Syndromes to Bring Anime Rock Anthems to Manila This September

Get ready to sing along to some of anime’s most recognizable rock anthems as Japanese band Burnout Syndromes heads to Manila for the first time this September.

The trio will take the stage at The Crossroads Center in Quezon City on September 5, 2026, marking their highly anticipated first Manila performance.

Anime fans may already know Burnout Syndromes through their memorable contributions to some of the biggest anime titles in recent years. The band performed “FLY HIGH!,” “Hikariare,” and “PHOENIX” for the beloved Haikyu!! series, while “Good Morning World!” and “ROCKET” became part of the soundtrack of Dr. STONE. Their music has also been featured in Gintama, further cementing their place in the anime music scene.

Burnout Syndromes recently revisited their Haikyu!! connection with their latest album, 《ハイキュー!!×BOS – 主題歌たちの宴 -》 (Haikyu!! × BOS – Shudaika-tachi no Utage –). Released on August 19, the album features the band’s own covers of theme songs from the Haikyu!! anime, making its arrival just weeks before their Manila show especially timely.

Joining Burnout Syndromes for the Manila concert is Japanese duo fuyu, composed of Yukan and Fumiya. Filipino fans may recognize Fumiya as a former Pinoy Big Brother housemate. The duo will open the show and bring their own sound to the stage before Burnout Syndromes takes over.
