5 Fun Facts about Korean actor Jang Ki Yong

Ki Yong, who is 186 tall, made a strong impression with his visuals and talent after graduating from the Department of Performing Arts, majoring in Model Acting at Seokyong University. He started his professional career in 2012 for the streetwear brand General Idea’s Spring/Summer collection during the Seoul Fashion Week. Two years later, he was recognized with the Fashion Model Award at the 2014 Asian Model Awards. 

An acclaimed actor

His win for Best New Actor for TV Dramas at the 55th Baeksang Awards in 2019, for the romance melodrama “Come and Hug Me,” demonstrated his exceptional talent and caliber as an actor. He played the role of a detective who will later reunite with his childhood first love.

From being a muse to various designers to starring in artist’s music videos, the K-Actor starred in not just one but two music videos of South Korean star IU namely “Friday” and “The red shoes” in 2013. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said “I was so nervous at the time. I felt like my heart was going to disappear.”

The famous nine-tailed fox actor revealed that he has three favorite things about himself in Hell’s Club EP 14, hosted by her co-star “My Roommate is a Gumiho (2022)” Lee Hyeri.
