Felip releases 7sins album, to hold concert on July 2024

Felip’s most recent album, 7sins, serves as an extension of his artistic abilities. Although not religiously oriented, 7sins is a voyage that recognizes the limitations of humanity. The album will lead you on a voyage of self-discovery and acceptance, from the acknowledgment of unsaid emotions and feelings to the embrace of one’s authentic self.

On July 5, 2024, Felip will release the album 7sins. The album comprises nine (9) tracks, with “envy” serving as the title and focal point. The album will be published on Felip’s YouTube channel in conjunction with its release on streaming platforms. The album concludes with a track titled “ache,” which is about redemption and acknowledgment, and the remaining songs depict the other sins of wrath, greed, and pride. 7sins is a genre-defying album that features tracks that illustrate the diverse aspects and narratives of Felip.

Felip persevered and adopted a hands-on approach to the composition, creation, and production of his album, despite the fact that he was preoccupied with SB19 engagements, shoots, and projects. The album necessitated seven months of effort to compose, record, and produce, including late-night sessions with Luke April of PLAYERTWO and Isagani Palabyab.

The album also includes collaborations with artists such as Belgian-Filipino Cyra Gwynth, whom Felip admires as an artist. He and his producer believed that it would be an intriguing and beneficial combination to collaborate on the composition of one or two songs. Cyra Gwynth is the author of “greed,” an emotional song that explores the experience of loving the wrong person. This song is likely to resonate with a wide audience. Additionally, she co-wrote and appears in the song “lust.” We also receive another collaboration with PLAYERTWO, a fellow Warner Music Philippines artist, for the song “gluttony.” Felip and PLAYERTWO had previously collaborated on the songs “FLYYY” and “Pagdali.”

Felip’s solo concert, 7sins the Album Concert, is scheduled for July 27, 2024, in anticipation of the album’s release. The concert is scheduled to take place at the Space at OneAyala, and it is anticipated that thousands of admirers will attend.
