The Intense Jealousy of Kim Soo Hyun’s Character Triggered by Park Sung Hoon in Kdrama ‘Queen of Tears’

Is Kim Soo Hyun nearing his breaking point on tvN’s “Queen of Tears”?
Scripted by Park Ji Eun, the renowned writer behind “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” and “Producer,” “Queen of Tears” narrates the extraordinary, gripping, and comical love journey of a married couple who defy all odds to remain together amidst adversity.
In the previous episode of “Queen of Tears,” Baek Hyun Woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun) found himself increasingly resentful towards Yoon Eun Sung (portrayed by Park Sung Hoon), his wife Hong Hae In’s (Kim Ji Won) close friend and former classmate. Yoon Eun Sung’s persistent reminders of his bond with Hong Hae In seemed to exacerbate Baek Hyun Woo’s animosity with each encounter.
In the newly unveiled stills from the upcoming episode, Baek Hyun Woo is taken aback to discover Yoon Eun Sung waiting uninvited in front of his house. His irritation deepens as Yoon Eun Sung casually shelters Hong Hae In with an umbrella while conversing with her.
Baek Hyun Woo’s frustration escalates further when the uninvited guest comfortably settles himself on their sofa with a cheerful demeanor, contrasting starkly with Baek Hyun Woo’s simmering rage. This begs the question of whether Baek Hyun Woo will finally succumb to jealousy.
Despite suppressing his jealousy thus far under the pretext of Hong Hae In’s professional meetings with Yoon Eun Sung, the palpable fury surrounding him in these images suggests he may no longer be able to contain it.
To discover whether Baek Hyun Woo will indeed lose his composure, don’t miss the next episode of “Queen of Tears” airing on March 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
