Netflix to Stream ‘Love Next Door,’ a K-RomCom from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Creators
Following the success of Queen of Tears, Netflix is closing off this year’s K-romance roster with Love Next Door, which will premiere globally on August 17 and in LATAM on August 31, with new episodes available weekly. The teaser trailer and two eye-catching posters give fans a sneak peek at this lovely rom-com that promises to win hearts all around the world.
Directed by Yu Je-won and penned by Shin Ha-eun, the creators behind Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Love Next Door tells the tale of Bae Seok-ryu (Jung So-min), who is eager for a fresh start after a series of setbacks. Her journey leads her to cross paths with Choi Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in), a renowned young architect in Korea and the son of her mother’s close friend. With their mothers’ friendship leaving them with awkward childhood memories, will their reunion as adults reignite a spark, or will the past continue to haunt them?
Love Next Door will be available exclusively on Netflix on August 17 worldwide and August 31 in Latin America.
