We Play Here 2024

Warner Music Philippines’ We Play Here is returning, this time with a new lineup of incredible musicians and thrilling activities that fans and music enthusiasts should not miss!

A curated music celebration.

We Play Here is a series of one-of-a-kind music events that highlight both local and worldwide Warner Music Group artists. The We Play Here ecosystem includes live concerts, fan engagements, and intriguing partnerships, with the ultimate goal of bringing Filipinos together through music.

Building on the popularity of last year’s event, this year’s We Play Here is larger and better than before. To provide their artists’ exciting performances to a larger audience, an expanded series of events will be held at various schools from this year to next.

Local and International Headliners

Dilaw makes a comeback on the We Play Here stage, much to their fans’ joy. The Filipino band is well known for their hit tune “Uhaw (Tayong Lahat),” which went viral in 2023. They have nearly three million monthly Spotify listeners and recently released a new music called “Nilalang.”

Stell, SB19’s lead vocalist, will also deliver a dance-inducing performance. After making his solo debut, Stell released an EP called “Room,” which includes tracks that fans may anticipate to hear on We Play Here. Another star to watch is pop artist Arthur Miguel, who has continued to rise in the local music industry with singles such as “Lihim” and “Ang Wakas.”

Griff, a British singer-songwriter, will make her debut in the Philippines as this year’s We Play Here international headliner. Fans will hear thrilling tracks from her debut album, “Vertigo,” which was released earlier this year. Despite the joyful character of Griff’s compositions, a closer look exposes elements of reflection. One notable example is “Tears For Fun,” which depicts the complexities of knowing something is bad for you yet being unable to resist. On the other side, “Anything” refers to a relationship in which you would do anything for your significant other. Overall, the album presents a relatable perspective on relationships and love.

Griff has achieved many milestones in her career, including opening for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour in 2023 for a few European dates in Portugal, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands, as well as opening for Taylor Swift’s Era Tour in London and supporting Sabrina Carpenter’s US tour later this year.

Up-and-coming acts Kahel, Letters from June, Sugarcane, Paul Pablo, and PLAYERTWO will perform alongside these heavyweights.

Fans will be able to interact with special booths at the event, including Arthur Miguel’s “What if?” and “AM Hugots” walls, Dilaw’s “Nilalang” Portraits, and Sugarcane’s “Pagbigyan” Tarot Readings.

Other features include Charli xcx’s BRAT photobooth, Griff’s Gachapon Machine, and the “Sikat Sa Pinas” Music & Lyrics booth. The legendary WishBus will also be parked in front of the venue, with the final timetable being released by Wish FM 107.5.

We Play Here, presented by Warner Music Philippines, KDR Music House, and UP Adcore, will take place on August 23 at the University of the Philippines College of Science Amphitheater. Although early bird tickets have sold out, standard tickets (P750 apiece) are still available here.
