LG New Monitors: Takes Flight With Its New Line
In an event with a Top Gun theme that was hosted by Andrei “Dreister” Felix, LG Philippines introduced its new monitor lineup and displayed its newest, most powerful, and most technologically advanced monitors to date.
Sungjae “Airboss” Kim, managing director for LG Philippines, claims that the business is still dedicated to improving and inventing its monitor lineup to meet the needs of its customers. We’ve made significant progress, he continued, “from adjusting to flexible workstations to modernizing our systems with new generation gaming standards.
The most renowned gamers, artists, and content producers in the nation attest to the strength, image quality, and adaptability of LG’s most recent monitor lineup.
Eric “Eruption” Tai, an actor, TV host, and #FitGamer, took advantage of the event’s immersive race car gaming setup with a 32GQ950 OLED Monitor. The contrast between the brilliant whites and the intense, dark blacks, he observed, is just astounding. Whether you’re playing for hours on end or just unwinding and binge-watching shows and movies, it offers a completely immersive experience. Additionally, HDMI 2.1 is included. Business development manager Jane Pactoranan followed Eric on stage and added that the LG UltraGear 32GQ950 features a 32-inch Nano IPS display with a 4K resolution, a quick 144Hz refresh rate (O/C 160Hz), and a quick 1ms (GtG) reaction time. Additionally, this display features a VESA-certified DisplayHDR 1,000, which means it should provide a dynamic contrast with brighter whites and deeper blacks as well as a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.
However, because to its size and excellent visual quality, LG’s flagship monitor, the 48GQ900 OLED, delighted “PBA Ironman” LA Tenorio. The 48GQ900 OLED monitor, which offers self-lit pixels and award-winning OLED technology, ensures compatibility with next-generation consoles with its immersive display and quick response time. According to Janille Umali, B2B marketing communications officer, the self-lit pixels also contribute to extraordinarily quick response times. The monitor’s enormous display is made to offer a better viewing experience than any other. Because of its built-in anti-glare and low reflection technology, you can concentrate solely on your game without being distracted. Of course, doing this for extended periods of time also helps to prevent eye fatigue. This monitor is as quick as they come, just like LA himself, one of the best point guards in the nation for basketball. It responds in 0.1 milliseconds and operates at 120 Hz. If you truly want to test the limits, it can even be overclocked to 138Hz. With such a high frame rate, objects render more clearly, ghosting is less of an issue in video games, and everything runs more smoothly. It has a very slim design, so you can show it anywhere—in your living room, game room, or on a wall. It also comes with a remote control of its own. This isn’t a slouch either in terms of sound. It has two built-in 20 watt speakers. With 4-pole headphone outs, LA may communicate with his teams and gaming buddies, and DTS:Headphone X’s virtual 3D surround sound allows for even more immersion.
The LG Dual Up 28MQ780-B, according to music and lifestyle photographer “Magic” Liwanag, is a lifesaver for creatives like him and he couldn’t help but agree with the product’s adaptability. The freedom to swivel [the display] and the 16:18 aspect ratio enable me to multitask in an entirely new way, he continues. According to Greg de Jesus, marketing communications officer for home entertainment, the LG Ergo series is made specifically with these customers in mind so they can conduct business how they see fit. The monitor can be moved forwards or backwards, swiveled, rotated, tilted, and in other ways. To boost productivity and get lost in your work, set up the workspace whatever you like. Additionally, it provides DCI-P3 98 percent**, a raised color range that brings vivid color to life and is eye-friendly thanks to the ambient light sensor.
The 29WP500-B 29-inch, 21:9 UltraWide display caught the attention of gaming content maker Myrtle “MyrtleGail” Sarrosa, who said, “What I love about this monitor is that even though ideally pang work siya, sobrang bilis pa rin for gaming.” Along with her, Ryan Nulud, manager of sales and marketing for the IT monitor, explained how the monitor’s expansive field of view is ideal for remote work and home education. The broad screen may be converted into your preferred virtual classroom by effortlessly managing textbooks, lectures, chats, and searches in one view. The area is large and open. Without having to repeatedly Alt-tab, you may deal with reports at a glance while having datasheets and slides open side by side. Additionally, it has AMD Free Sync and Dynamic Action Sync, both of which support gamers by enabling smooth, fluid movement in high-definition, quick-paced games. It essentially lessens tearing and stuttering on the screen.
Later, Gab “Viper” Valenciano, a tech nerd and ardent supporter of LG monitors, joined Myrtle and Ryan. He has long used LG displays in his own studio, so he was thrilled to test the LG UltraGear 32GN500 panel with a flight simulator setup to recreate the atmosphere of Top Gun. The LG UltraGear 32GN500’s high-definition images and sharp details really blew him away. Along with the strong features, the design is outstanding. It can be placed almost anyplace, whether in the living room or your man cave, and it looks nice. I give it a thumbs up.” He also observed that ghosting and blurring, which he had previously assumed to be common and inescapable, are nearly nonexistent. The speed of the monitor allows for quick and fluid games. By lowering blur and ghosting, the 165Hz Refresh Rate and 1m MBR contribute to more fluid gameplay. Additionally, it has AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC for crisper, quicker movement.
Vikka “Lightning” Francisco of The Modern Creatures favors the 27UP850-W 27-inch UHD 4K IPS, while Isa “Pink” Rodriguez of Isa Does and the LITT website develops a fondness for the 27UN880-B 27-inch UHD 4K Ergo IPS Monitor for its effective workspace setup. The monitor’s one-click mount, c-clamp, simple cable management system, and USB-C compatibility, she continues, “truly help you maintain your desk neat and clean.”
The Naval Air Wing of the Philippine Navy received a sizable in-kind donation from LG Philippines of 30 LG UltraGear 32GN500 monitor units, which they can use in their Operating Squadron Offices and Flight Briefing Stations, Command and Control Center, Operations Center, and flight simulation rooms to display lectures, flight deck videos, flight performance briefing and debriefing, active welder briefings, and more.
Your preferred authorized shops as well as LG’s official flagship stores on Lazada and Shopee now carry the LG 2022 monitors. For additional updates, you may follow LG Philippines on social media or go to their official website at www.lg.com/ph.
