LG Shares Visayas’ Laundry Love

Typhoon Odette wreaked havoc on the Visayas region, which was one of the hardest impacted. Many people have been displaced, and entire families have been uprooted from their homes. Individuals, organizations, and businesses all came up to provide relief and help those devastated by the storm, in true Filipino fashion and in the spirit of bayanihan. As the storm victims began to repair their homes, assistance was available.

LG Philippines, in collaboration with one of its key Commercial Laundry distributors, BigWash, provided support through Terrific Wash in Cebu. “This is my small way of helping my fellow kababayans here in Cebu and Butuan, and I am grateful to LG Philippines for the support,” said Terrific Wash owner Minerva Bascon. The partners provided free laundry services in a number of hard-hit areas in Cebu and Butuan to help give residents access to clean clothing. The Laundry Love initiative was held in six locations in Cebu and one in Butuan over the course of two days, serving over 365 consumers.
