NCT’s Jaehyun is preparing for his upcoming military enlistment, a significant milestone in the career of the K-pop idol. On September 26, SM Entertainment, Jaehyun’s agency, released an official statement confirming the news.

Hello, this is SM Entertainment.
NCT’s Jaehyun applied to the Army Band and received a notification of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration today. Accordingly, he is scheduled to enlist as an active duty soldier on November 4 to fulfill his mandatory service.
On the day of his entry into the recruit training center, there will be no official event to prevent safety accidents due to the congestion caused by the presence of many soldiers and their families.
We ask for your unwavering support and love until the day Jaehyun completes his military service and returns in good health.

With this announcement, Jaehyun will become the second member of NCT to enlist, following group leader Taeyong.
