ABOUT NE-YO

A total of 23 billion broadcasts have been generated worldwide by NE-YO. “So Sick,” his debut single from 2005, was certified quadruple-platinum and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Motown Records/Compound Entertainment recording artist has since amassed a collection of global hits, including “Sexy Love,” “Closer,” “Because of You,” “Miss Independent,” “Mad,” “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself),” “Time of Our Lives,” and “Push Back” [feat. Furthermore, NE-YO has demonstrated his ability to be as influential with his pen as he is on stage and in the recording studio. He has penned hit songs such as “Unfaithful,” “Russian Roulette,” and “Take a Bow” for Rihanna, as well as “Irreplaceable,” the 2006 breakup anthem for Beyoncé, and songs for artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, and Mario.

Additionally, the multihyphenate has capitalized on his musicianship to transition into the realm of acting. His film and television credits encompass NBC’s World of Dance, Netflix’s Dance Monsters, Empire, Stomp the Yard, Save the Last Dance, Battle: Los Angeles, George Lucas’ Red Tails, The Wiz Live!, Starz’ Step Up: High Water, Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding, and The Sound of Christmas. He has been cast in the forthcoming season of BMF, the critically acclaimed drama series on STARZ, from 50 Cent.
