PLUUS: SBTown’s Newest Boy Group
The most anticipated boy band to debut this year, PLUUS, is summing up all their pre-debut preparations in their first-ever 3-in-1 showcase (debut stage, media conference, and fan gathering): PLUUS +ime is Now.
PLUUS is the most recent boy group produced by Mr Geong Seong Han, also known as Tatang Robin, the producer of the largest boy group in the Philippines, and Ms. Adie Hong, the South Korean trainer of SBTalent Camp. Under the record label Universal Records, the six-member boy band is managed by his now-established company, SBTown, and co-managed by Ms. Kathleen Dy-Go. The partnership between Universal Records and SBTown ensures the group’s successful management. With Ms. Kathleen Dy-Go and Mr. Geong Seong Han as Managing Directors of UR, PLUUS’s debut and future plans are positive and certain.
The name of the group was derived from the combination of the words “PLUS” and “US,” which signifies that PLUUS (pronounced “plus”) and their fanbase are in this journey together from the beginning and will remain so for a long time and that the boys are here to ADD good things to their lives.
PLUUS debuted with their showcase, PLUUS +ime is Now at Power Mac Center Spotlight, Circuit Makati last March 31 at 3 p.m.
PLUUS demonstrated their training as they have prepared three surprises for the event. They demonstrated the power of six boys in performing on a larger stage through their dance skills, vocal abilities, rap skills, and charisma. This three-in-one showcase also delves into the details of their debut album: PLUUS +.Y.M.
Exciting fact: PLUUS contributed significantly to the production of the debut album. They collaborated on the songwriting and choreography for this debut. PLUUS trained four years of rigorous training and adversity. The boys acknowledged that getting to this point was not simple. But with each other by their side and the strong friendship they’ve forged, their dream seems considerably more attainable. And these dreams are not just for themselves; they are also for the people travelling with them and supporting them.
During their debut showcase, PLUUS had fun performing for their fans. Numerous additional performances, contents, and activities, including a nationwide concert with their sister group YGIG, are planned for the group’s eagerly anticipated debut. They intend to continue doing these things on larger stages and in front of larger audiences as PLUUS.
