The latest part in Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Matrix” storyline, “The Matrix Resurrections,” will be available for streaming on HBO GO starting February 26 (Saturday) for Pinoy consumers.
The return of Mr. Thomas Anderson, a.k.a. Neo, played by none other than Keanu Reeves, in another out-of-this-world adventure spanning two realities: everyday life and the one that lies underneath it, the Matrix, comes from the mind of visionary filmmaker Lana Wachowski.
Neo meets Tiffany (Carrie-Anne Moss), a mother of three who is unaware of her background, while working as a video game developer inside the updated Matrix. Tiffany was Neo’s partner Trinity all along, and after her death, she was re-inserted into the Matrix software.
Neo learns the truth about the virtual world he’s living in and his earlier sacrifice to stop the long-running struggle between machines and humans in the real world with the help of Morpheus (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and hacker Bugs (Jessica Henwick).
Now that he has been resurrected, he sets out to save Trinity and prevent their new opponent, the Analyst (Neil Patrick Harris), from gaining control of the Matrix.
“The Matrix Resurrections” will be accessible to stream on-demand beginning February 26 exclusively on HBO GO, which is available via SKY for as little as P99 per month.
Apart from “The Matrix Resurrections,” HBO GO also streams the whole Matrix story, including “The Matrix,” “The Matrix Reloaded,” and “The Matrix Revolutions,” so fans can catch up on Neo’s prior adventures whenever and wherever they choose.
HBO GO is available to SKYcable subscribers with an HBO PAK subscription at no additional charge. Visit mysky.com.ph/hbogo for more information on how to get an HBO GO membership with SKY.
