Actor and singer Park Ji Hoon returns to the screen as Yeon Si Eun in Weak Hero Class 2. The sequel to the well-received drama is set to premiere on Netflix worldwide on April 25. Fans are looking forward to what comes next in Si Eun’s story.

Season one introduced Yeon Si Eun as a quiet but sharp student who relied on logic rather than strength to stand up to school bullies. He disrupted the existing power structure but lost important friendships in the process. The result left him alone and emotionally worn out, unsure of how to move forward in a world that often rewards force over fairness.

In season two, Si Eun transfers to Eunjang High School, hoping for a fresh start. But the new environment is more dangerous than expected. Gang influence and underground conflicts run deep. Even as he tries to stay out of trouble, Si Eun is pulled into another fight — one that puts him in even more danger.

This season features a new lineup of characters:

  • Ryeoun as Park Hu Min
  • Choi Min Young as Seo Jun Tae
  • Lee Min Jae as Go Hyun Tak
  • Bae Na Ra as Na Baek Jin, leader of the gang known as the Alliance
  • Lee Jun Young as Geum Sung Je

Each character adds a different layer to the growing tension at Eunjang.

The official trailer shows scenes of violence, personal struggle, and shifting alliances. Si Eun starts to connect with Hu Min, Jun Tae, and Hyun Tak, but their bond makes them a target. The Alliance controls the school from behind the scenes and sees Si Eun as a threat.

The trailer closes with a single message: Fight to end it.

Netflix also released an official poster showing the main characters in a tense, serious mood. The darker tone suggests the story will deal with heavier themes and deeper conflict than before.

Weak Hero Class 2 explores themes of trauma, trust, and the balance between standing up and protecting others. As Si Eun is forced into another fight, the cost of survival keeps rising.

The series begins streaming on April 25.
