If you’re searching for a fast getaway from Manila, VIEWSCAPE NATURE’S PARK in Tanay, Rizal is the place to go. The cabins here are mirror-like, and the best part is that you have an incredible view of the Sierra Madre and clouds! Because the route is unstable, it is best to take an SUV, truck, or even a motorcycle to get here.
It would take about 2-3 hours to drive from Manila, depending on traffic. You can’t help but fall in love with the view as soon as you get in the highlands. The cabins are one of the most gorgeous affordable cabins we’ve seen in the Philippines, complete with a firepit and a bathroom.
If you don’t want to utilize the cabin, there is a nearby camping site where you can pitch your tent. The clouds in the mountains are gorgeous all day, but especially after sunset. A dragonfruit farm is located near the cottages, and it is an excellent place to shoot photos.
Each cabin is Instagram-worthy, and you can’t help but snap a few photographs. The best thing is that the location is pet-friendly, which means you can bring as many pets as you want as long as you clean up after them.
Nearby, a romantic meal is put up on the roof of the building, where you have complete solitude and the full moon as a backdrop. There is no electricity or WiFi, just like any other camping place. The good news is that up in the highlands, the cellphone signal is excellent! Because there are no stores nearby, guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.
Trekking is also a possibility for guests. You have the option of walking or riding a tricycle to go hiking. It’s a beautiful trek, but it can be exhausting. The spiderweb and other places provide excellent photo opportunities, but the best part is seeing Noah’s Ark! You only need to bring your trekking clothes and shoes, as the mountain may be fairly treacherous, especially if it has been raining.
Spending time at Viewscape Nature’s Park is an unforgettable experience, especially when you need to disconnect from technology and the hustle and bustle of Manila. We recommend taking sweatshirts because it can get chilly at night, as well as extra flash flights because the moonlight will be your main source of illumination. In any case, we had a terrific time touring the beauties of Tanay, Rizal, as well as these unique cabins, which completed our holiday.
Remember to bring extra power banks with you. You’d be shocked how quickly your phone battery drains in the mountains. In any case, we strongly advise all hikers and adventurers to visit this location. It’s the ideal way to unwind and test yourself before returning to Manila!
