Winners Of The Seoul International Drama Awards 2024
The highly anticipated Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 celebrated the best in television from around the world, recognizing outstanding talent and achievements in drama. Held on September 25 at KBS Hall in Seoul, this prestigious event was hosted by Bae Sung Jae and actress Seol In Ah.
This year’s winners included top stars and productions across various categories. Director Park Chan Wook made waves, winning the Golden Bird Prize in the international invitation category for his HBO series The Sympathizer, while actors Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon of Lovely Runner both took home Asia Star Awards.
In the fiercely competitive international competition category, Korea-Khitan War won Best Series, and O’PENing: Bruised Like a Peach earned the Best TV Movie title. Veteran actor Song Kang Ho clinched Best Actor for his performance in Uncle Samsik, and Park In Je was named Best Director for his work on the hit series Moving.
The spotlight on Korean dramas shone brightly, with Moving and Queen of Tears both receiving the Outstanding Korean Drama Award. The cast of Mask Girl also claimed major honors, with Ahn Jae Hong and Yeom Hye Ran winning Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. SEVENTEEN’s BSS added to the excitement by taking home the award for Outstanding Korean Drama OST for their song “The Reasons of My Smiles” from Queen of Tears.
