The Phenomenal Post-hardcore Band You Me at Six is coming to Manila for their ‘Truth Decay Tour’ this July
It’s no secret that Filo music fans are among the most devoted, passionate, and energetic in the world, never hesitating to express their undying love and support for their favourite artists with the loudest cheers, yells, and sing-alongs to every word of their favourite songs.
And this is especially true for rock fans, which is why the upcoming show by the internationally acclaimed pop-punk/post-hardcore band YOU ME AT SIX in Manila is sure to be one for the record books – a performance no serious fan of the genre (or fan of rock music in general, for that matter…) would want to miss.
Scheduled to occur on July 6, 2023, at the Skydome SM North Edsa, the band – comprised of vocalist Josh Fransechi, guitarists Chris Miller and Max Heyler, bassist Matt Barnes and drummer Dan Flint – had to include the Philippines as one of its main stops here in the region for their Truth Decay Tour 2023, after local audiences left an indelible impression on the band when they 1st played the country as headliners for PULP Live World’s B
This time, they return with even more hit singles and a louder performance.
The five-piece band from Weybridge, Surrey in England, was officially formed in 2004 & had their first taste of success with their debut album Take Off Your Colours, with critics dubbing them “the UK’s answer to Fallout Boy” and other media predicting they would reach the same heights as American influences and counterparts such as Newfound Glory and Panic At The Disco. In the subsequent decade, the group exceeded most predictions and expectations with chart-topping singles and an explosive live performance and touring ethos. Since then, the band has released 7 full-length studio albums & numerous singles, including their recent 2023 release Truth Decay, which contains potent anthems such as “God Bless The 90s Kids,” “Deep Cuts,” “Mixed Emotions,” and “heartLESS.”
These singles, along with classic live favourites such as “Bite My Tongue,” “Room To Breathe,” “Loverboy,” and “No One Does It Better,” ensure that their Manila concert will be one of the most anticipated rock performances of the year.
The formal on-sale date for tickets is June 3, 2023, and they will be available at SM Tickets outlets nationwide & online at www.smtickets.com. Bring a friend and disseminate the word: You Me At Six will be at the venue.
