GOT7’s Yugyeom Turns His Solo Concert In Manila Into A Party

Dressed in a black jacket, baggy shirt and baseball cap. Got7’s Yugyeom turns his solo concert into a party!
Kim Yugyeom of Korean boyband GOT7 went all out for his first solo concert in Manila, transforming a sea of ahgabong lightstick-waving fans into one big party scene. He proved that he has progressed from being the band’s dance machine and vocalist to being a performer who can command the crowd and stage on his own.

VIBIN WITH DJ WEGUN
The evening began with DJ Wegun taking the stage and warming up the crowd with remixes of GOT7 and AOMG favourites. His set list was the ideal way to kick off what would be a fun-filled night.
Yugyeom opened his set with a smooth performance of his first solo track, “I Want U Around,” from his mini-album “Point of View: U”.
The song’s blend of R&B and trap beats instantly captivated the audience, who cruised to Yugyeom’s silky vocals. He followed it up with a catchy track, “Running Through The Rain“.
MOONS AND DANDELIONS
Yugyeom greeted the crowd and said “Mabuhay Philippines! I am so happy to be in Manila. This is my first solo concert in Asia! It has been awhile since our last concert with GOT7 members.” He also mentioned his journey as a soloist under AOMG.
SERENADED THE CROWD
Yugyeom continued the concert by performing “When U Fall“. The fans showed their support by cheering for his name since he got emotional towards the song’s end.
BACK-TO-BACK TRACKS
Yugyeom pumped up the crowd even more with a string of powerful solo performances, including “Falling In Love,” and “All Your Fault,” which encouraged his fans to dance and sing along with him. He also asked the crowd if they knew about Loco before he proceeded to perform “All About U,”
Yugyeom proved again that he’s one of K-pop’s best dancers, displaying some of his signature moves. He also performed his previously unreleased track “Always Ready,” followed by “Love The Way.”
DANDELION TATTOOS
Yugyeom turned up the heat with his versions of Jay Park’s “All I Wanna Do,” and “Mommae,” even teasing the crowd by lifting his shirt and revealing his dandelion tattoos while performing “Take You Down.”
Later that day, he’d admit to being nervous about taking the stage by himself, but his actions said otherwise, as he commanded the night with his singing, rapping, and dancing skills without losing the energy he had built.
HARD CARRY: An Ultimate Fan Service
Yugyeom paid tribute to his GOT7 roots by lighting up his encore stage with classic hit songs from his band “Hard Carry“. He interacted with fans ash he went down the stage to join the crowd in the back. While walking, some of us, including myself, held his hands.
ENDED HIS SOLO CONCERT WITH A BANG
Before wrapping up the night, Yugyeom played “Two,” a song he co-wrote for GOT7’s 2022 self-titled EP. An explosion of GOT7’s famous glowing green lights and a confetti storm marked the end of his solo concert.
With only two years of solo experience, Yugyeom owned the stage with outstanding performances using his growing music repertoire. His entire concert felt like a party you didn’t want to end, as he single-handedly created one of the best and unforgettable Friday nights for all Filo Ahgases.
