“Walang eme eme!” was theme XLOV and Filipino EVOLs embodied last April 25, 2026, as the group graced the Philippine stage for their first-ever solo concert in Manila at the UP Theater.

Composed of Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru, XLOV is a four-member South Korean group formed under 257 Entertainment that debuted in January 2025. Known for their genderless concept, the group continues to push boundaries, championing gender-free expression through their music, style, and aesthetics.

XLOV previously held a mall tour in the Philippines in October 2025, which gathered Filipino fans at Robinsons Las Piñas on October 1 and at Market! Market! in BGC on October 2.

Following the success of their mall tour, the group finally held their first solo concert in the Philippines, fulfilling their promise to their Filipino EVOLs. Living up to their “walang eme-eme” slogan, XLOV brought undeniable talent and charisma—no cap, for real.

Press Conference

Prior to the concert proper, Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru met with members of the press for a fun, inspiring, and thought-provoking Q&A session.

When asked what they missed most about the Philippines now that they are back for the second time, the group’s leader and producer, Wumuti, shared that it was the energy of their Filipino EVOLs and, of course, the food. “Last time we’re in the Philippines, every food was so delicious for us. We’re so happy and so excited to taste it again. We’re so happy to be back here!” he added.

Hyun, on the other hand, expressed his excitement to perform songs they were not able to showcase during their previous stages in Manila. “You could actually recognize the improvement from us compared to the last summer, so please look forward to it, okay?” he added, acknowledging their growth in such a short period of time and expressing his excitement to perform their new songs.

Each member was also asked to describe the Filipino crowd in one word. For Wumuti, it’s “hot,” saying, “Everyone looks hot, the energy is hot, the country is hot,” which made the audience laugh. For Rui, it’s “walang eme-eme,” while Hyun chose “mahal kita.” Lastly, Haru described them as “powerful,” noting how the fans’ fanchants during their previous Manila shows were especially powerful.

With their gender-free concept, XLOV hoped everyone, especially those watching the concert, would feel more confident and that they can embrace any concept or look they want. Just being yourself, doing whatever you want, and feeling free and happy.

Haru, on the other hand, shared that he gained a lot of confidence from doing multiple tours and meeting many EVOLs. “I was able to improve a lot,” he added.

When asked about things or food they wanted to try again, Rui said he wanted to have sisig once more. “I actually wanted to try sisig so much because it was so delicious last time,” he said. Meanwhile, Wumuti expressed his desire to try beef tapa, which he already had the night before their concert. Hyun, on the other hand, said he wanted to try Jollibee during their stay this time.

XLOV Asia Tour in Manila

XLOV opened their 2026 Asia Tour in Manila with “Rizz” and “I’mma Be,” immediately turning up the heat and energy at the concert venue. “We’re back in the Philippines again. Hi!” Wumuti greeted their Filipino EVOLs.

“Hi everyone! I’m the leader and producer of XLOV, my name is Wumuti!” he introduced himself. Rui followed, saying, “Hello! I’m Rui from XLOV! Walang eme-eme!” Hyun continued, “Manila, can you hear my voice? I’m XLOV Hyun.” Haru then greeted, “Manila, kumusta po? I’m Haru!” All introductions received warm and loud cheers from the fans.

The performances continued with the unit stages, keeping the energy high inside the venue. Wumuti and Rui first took the spotlight, treating EVOLs to a charismatic and sultry cover of “Gashina” by Sunmi. Meanwhile, Hyun and Haru amped things up with a powerful performance of “Mamushi” by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Yuki Chiba.

The party didn’t stop there as XLOV returned as a full group, igniting the stage once again with their 2025 track “BIZNESS.” They quickly followed it up with a smooth and commanding cover of TAEMIN’s “MOVE,” drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

“We had the idea that we would try our best so we could have our own stage where our Filipino EVOLs could watch us comfortably. And now seeing you guys comfortably enjoying our show, I feel so relieved right now,” Wumuti shared, reminiscing about their mall shows in the Philippines, where a lot of fans were seated on the floor section, while some stood on the upper levels of the mall.

XLOV continued to showcase their talents with performances of “Scent,” “Kiss and say goodbye,” “Dirty Baby,” and “Drip Drip.” They also added special covers, including “Angel Baby” by Troye Sivan and “Pink Venom” by BLACKPINK. “Sigaw pa!” Hyun shouted, further hyping the crowd.

“I hope you guys can live your life the way you want. XLOV is your safe space!” Wumuti said, a message that deeply resonated with Filipino EVOLs.

The energy from both XLOV and the fans overflowed as the group performed “1&Only” and “Biii:-P,” bringing their first solo concert in Manila to a powerful close. The event was presented by Wish Us Luck Entertainment.
