Concert Recap
iKON Returns to Manila With High-Energy Performances and Fan-Favorite Hits
Manila once again gave a warm welcome to South Korean K-pop group iKON as they returned with their FOUREVER TOUR on July 5, 2026, at SMX Manila.
JAY (Kim Jinhwan), BOBBY (Kim Jiwon), SONG (Song Yunhyeong), and CHAN (Jung Chanwoo) reunited with Filo iKONICs two years after their Get Back Limited Tour in Manila in 2024. Although JAY was absent from that concert, he returned to Manila earlier this year for his first solo concert, JAY 207, held at the Music Museum in January. Meanwhile, member DK is currently serving in the military, while JUNE is awaiting his enlistment.
The tour kicked off with a two-day show in Seoul before making stops in Macau, Tokyo, Bangkok, and finally, Manila.

GET READY, SHOWTIME!
Dressed in red, iKON opened the show with “Ah Yeah” before moving into “Tantara,” “Bling Bling” and “Sinosijak.” The opening set immediately drew a strong response from Filipino iKONICs, who sang along, raised their lightsticks and matched the group’s energy from the first song.

iKON’s signature greeting, “Get ready, Showtime!” echoed throughout the venue as the group finally reunited with their Filipino iKONICs after such a long time.
“Welcome to FOUREVER Tour in Manila! I’m JAY from iKON, and I hope you guys will have a great time with us tonight!” JAY greeted the Filipino iKONICs. BOBBY followed, saying, “I’m back in my favorite town in the world! We missed you so much! My name is BOBBY. Thank you so much for coming today.”

“Mabuhay, Manila!” CHAN screamed. “Hello everyone! I’m iKON’s maknae, CHANWOO.” “I’m so happy today to see all the Manila fans here. Even in the opening, everyone is so energetic and your screams are awesome!” he said, praising the fans.
“Manila, sigaw!” SONG shouted before introducing himself. “Hello! My name is YUNHYEONG from iKON.” “It’s been so long since we last visited Manila, so we’ll do our best to make unforgettable memories for you tonight,” he added.
The group kept the momentum going with back-to-back performances of “SINOSIJAK” and “DRAGON.”
iKON’s INDIVIDUAL ARTISTRY

While iKON’s chemistry as a group remains unmatched, each member also showcased their distinct musicality through their solo stages. Maknae Chan performed “YOU,” while Jay presented “Angel” and “OBEY.” Bobby turned to his solo catalog with “RocKstaR” before Song performed “FIGHTING” and “IT’S CALL.”
The solo stages gave the members room to showcase their individual styles without disrupting the flow of the concert. After their respective sets, the four came back together for the group performances that remained at the center of the show.
LONG TIME NO SEE, iKON!

iKON later shifted the mood with a medley that looked back on different chapters of the group’s career. Beginning with “Wait for Me” and “Long Time No See,” the set moved through “Welcome Back,” “Airplane,” “Goodbye Road,” “Jerk,” “Why Why Why” and “Driving Slowly.”
The familiar tracks gave longtime fans a chance to sing along while bringing a more reflective tone to the concert. Rather than simply moving from one hit to another, the medley showed the range of iKON’s catalog and the songs that have remained meaningful to fans over the years.
Ending the set, iKON performed an unreleased song written by BOBBY, whose title was still being decided through fan voting. “I’m really thankful for all of you for filling up this big venue. We’re really touched,” SONG said, explaining that he couldn’t wait until the ending ment to say it right away.

iKON also had fun saying various Tagalog words and phrases, including JAY’s now-iconic “Restroom, para po,” as well as “Salamat po,” “Grabe,” “Malupet,” “Pogi,” and “Sigaw.”
Concluding their little Tagalog session, CHAN had the entire venue screaming after he said, “Philippines! Next year, babalik kami!”
IT’S PARTY TIME!

The party continued as iKON performed their iconic 2018 hit “LOVE SCENARIO,” followed by “KILLING ME.” Throughout the performances, KONBATs lit up the venue as fans waved them enthusiastically.
The party got even wilder as the group hyped the crowd with their signature hype tracks “FREEDOM,” “DUMB & DUMBER,” “RHYTHM TA,” and “BUT YOU.” “iKONIC, know that we love you so much!” BOBBY exclaimed during their performance of “BUT YOU.”
All we need is what? FREEDOM! 🔥

“We’re very excited to see how you’re gonna react once we come back together with DK and JUNE,” CHAN said.
BOBBY then said, “You guys make us feel like it’s really lucky to be alive, you know? Thank you so much for coming out today!” He added, “Please be next to us till the day I die. Thank you so much. Thank you for making me feel lucky.”
SONG also shared a heartfelt message with Filipino iKONICs. “It’s been so long, but we return to create precious memories with you guys, but it feels like you make the precious memories for us. So we’re really thankful.”

JAY, on the other hand, acknowledged the struggles iKONICs had probably gone through before the concert and thanked the fans for still coming to see them. “We’ll continue so we can be the iKON that continuously gives you trust and love as well.” He also shared that the group would continue to do their best.
Responding to fans’ requests, iKON treated the crowd to an impromptu performance of “RUM PUM PUM.” The group also performed “WHAT’S WRONG,” “JUST ANOTHER BOY,” and the fan-favorite “B-DAY.”

There was no time to rest their feet from all the jumping as iKON returned to the stage to perform “MY TYPE,” “DON’T LET ME KNOW,” and “RUBBER BAND.” “We gotta go but we don’t wanna go,” JAY said. BOBBY then asked, ‘Do you want more?’ Fans responded with a loud ‘yes!’. He then asked Filo iKONICs if it was okay for them to perform “BLING BLING” once again and they did.
Wrapping up the concert, iKON performed “B-DAY” once again, ending the night with a bang.

Overall, iKON’s FOUREVER TOUR in Manila was a concert fans would regret missing. There was never a moment when the energy died down or the atmosphere fell flat. The concert solidified iKONICs’ love for the group and reaffirmed their unwavering support, no matter how many members are on stage.
Even before this concert, it was always apparent that iKON never performs just for the sake of performing. They give every performance their all and pour their hearts into every stage for iKONICs. It truly feels like the love iKONICs have for iKON is wholeheartedly reciprocated—and vice versa.

And as CHAN promised, they’ll be back next year! So, iKONICs, you know what to do: start saving, stay ready, and let’s give our all when iKON returns to Manila once again.
